FM Sa'ar calls on ambassadors in Israel: 'Expel Iran's envoys from your country - like Lebanon'

Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar called on ambassadors of countries stationed in Israel to expel the Iranian ambassadors from their countries, citing the example of Lebanon.

“Expel Iran’s ambassadors — as Lebanon has decided to do,” Sa'ar said in an online briefing to around 100 ambassadors and heads of missions.

“Unfortunately, the Lebanese government is not taking real steps against Hezbollah — not in harming their launch capabilities and disarming them, nor in targeting their financial infrastructure. Representatives of Hezbollah still sit in the Lebanese government. They must be dismissed immediately," he added.

“The firing toward the Diego Garcia base demonstrates that the regime lied about the range of Iranian missiles — including false statements by Iran’s foreign minister during the war. This also shows that the range of the Iranian regime’s missiles threatens not only us and the countries of the region, but all of Europe as well.”
