Exchange of fire in Strait of Hormuz after missile launch at US vessel - report
Iranian-linked media reported that cruise missiles were fired at a U.S. vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, triggering an exchange of fire in the strategic waterway.
According to the Sabereen News agency, which is affiliated with pro-Iranian groups, the missiles were launched from the Iranian city of Bushehr toward an American ship. Explosions were also reportedly heard in the coastal city of Bandar Kangan near the Persian Gulf.
