El Al extends flight cancellations, eases outbound passenger limits
El Al announced it will extend the suspension of its regular flights until April 18. At the same time, the airline is increasing the number of passengers allowed on outbound flights to 100 starting Sunday at midnight.
Under the updated framework, each departing flight will include 20 humanitarian cases and 80 regular passengers. One takeoff per hour will still be permitted, though additional easing of restrictions is expected later in the week.
