Eight Israeli soldiers wounded in attack near Lebanon border, five seriously
Eight Givati Brigade soldiers were wounded Friday in gunfire at a post near the Lebanon border in northern Israel. Five of the soldiers were seriously injured, while the others sustained light wounds.
Among the lightly wounded was the son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. The circumstances of the attack are under investigation as fighting continues along the northern front.
