DM Katz says IDF killed over 200 Hezbollah militants yesterday as military calls to evacuate Beirut's Dahiyeh
The Israeli military issued an evacuation notice to civilians for the entire Dahiyeh neighborhood, the major stronghold of Hezbollah in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, after carrying out intense strikes against the terror group over the past few days.
"More than 200 militants were eliminated yesterday, bringing the number eliminated in this campaign to over 1,400 — more than twice that of the Second Lebanon War," Defense Minister Israel Katz stated.
"The terrorist organization Hezbollah is desperate for a ceasefire, and its Iranian patrons are pressuring and threatening — out of heavy concern that Israel will crush Hezbollah."
