Ahead of Holocaust Remembrance Day: 111,000 survivors living in Israel
Ahead of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that approximately 111,000 Holocaust survivors and victims of antisemitic persecution during World War II are currently living in Israel.
According to the data, 63% of the survivors are women, highlighting the demographic makeup of the remaining survivor population as of early 2026.
