Iranian missile strike on Dimona wounds 59, 12-year-old boy in serious condition
Around 60 people were wounded, including 10-year-old boy seriously injured, after an Iranian missile attack on the southern city of Dimona.
A 10-year-old boy and a 40-year-old woman were injured by shrapnel—he is in serious condition, while she is in moderate condition, according to Magen David Adom.
Some reports claimed that the missile contained a cluster warhead, as it reportedly caused around 12 separate impacts in the Dimona area. However, some of the footage from the impact showed a relatively large explosion, indicating that an intact, conventional warhead impacted.
The IDF has not released any information on the type of impact yet.
