10 IDF soldiers wounded, incl 3 seriously, in south Lebanon clash with Hezbollah
Ten IDF soldiers of the 101st Battalion of the Paratroopers were wounded in an overnight, close-quarters battle with Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon, the IDF stated.
"Three IDF soldiers were severely injured, and an additional soldier was moderately injured in a close-quarters encounter in southern Lebanon. In the incident, six additional soldiers were lightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment in a hospital, and their families have been notified," the military stated.
Army Radio reported that the battle took place in the area of the town of Bint Jbeil, currently the focal point of Israeli operations in southern Lebanon, where the IDF has trapped over 100 militants in recent weeks.
