In a wide-ranging interview, Joel C. Rosenberg, co-founder and editor-in-chief of ALL ISRAEL NEWS, delivered a sharp critique of global media coverage of Israel while offering a deeply optimistic, faith-driven outlook on the country’s future.

Speaking on the "Out of Zion" podcast, hosted by Dr. Susan Michael, Rosenberg emphasized the growing challenge of misinformation, the importance of credible journalism, and what he sees as a pivotal moment in Israel’s history both geopolitically and spiritually. The episode, titled "Why a Biblical Perspective on the Middle East Changes Everything," explores how a faith-informed lens can illuminate current events and provide clarity in an era of misleading narratives.

Central to the discussion was a stark warning about the current state of information, which Rosenberg characterized as a crisis of credibility. He explained that the ALL ISRAEL NEWS media outlet was established out of a need to counter fake news and widespread misinformation.

“I want you to think about credibility, credibility, credibility,” Rosenberg said, describing the editorial philosophy he instills in his team. “Everything that you hate about the media – do the opposite.”

He humorously dubbed this approach the “George Costanza doctrine of journalism,” referencing the fictional Seinfeld character known for making consistently poor decisions. By reversing flawed instincts often seen in mainstream reporting, Rosenberg believes journalists can better pursue truth rather than narratives.

A key example he cited was the widely reported hospital explosion in Gaza early in Israel's war against Hamas following the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack in southern Israel. While major outlets quickly blamed Israel, Rosenberg said his team deliberately paused before publishing.

“I said, 'Well, guys, hold… I think there's something wrong about this story,” he recalled. “If Israel did it, we will report it… This is not propaganda. This is journalism.”

Within hours, evidence emerged indicating the explosion was caused by a failed Palestinian rocket. Rosenberg argued that this incident highlighted the dangers of rushing to judgment and reinforced the need for careful verification.

Beyond media critique, the interview with Rosenberg also explored the spiritual dimension of Israel’s current moment. He emphasized that ALL ISRAEL NEWS is not only focused on geopolitical developments but also on what he described as a growing openness among Israelis to biblical faith.

“More people in the IDF are reading the Bible,” he said. “They’re singing songs of the Psalms before they go into Gaza.”

While acknowledging that the number of Jewish believers in Jesus remains relatively small, Rosenberg framed this as part of a broader direction. “We’re heading towards… ‘All Israel will be saved,’” he said, referencing the Book of Romans.

At the same time, Rosenberg highlighted the unique role his platform plays in covering stories often overlooked by both secular and Christian media, particularly those involving the local church and religious freedom in the region.

Rosenberg recounted how a Palestinian pastor was jailed simply for welcoming Israeli and Evangelical Christian visitors. While many outlets avoided the story, ALL ISRAEL NEWS reported it as an open letter to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, ultimately helping secure the pastor’s release within two days.

“We’re believers first… we didn’t pepper [the story], but after 40 days, this guy was not getting out… within 48 hours, he was released. This is God.”

The incident illustrated how the platform brings attention to issues of religious freedom and the local church that often go unreported by both secular and Christian media.

Looking ahead, Rosenberg acknowledged the hardships of the past two and a half years of conflict and regional instability while emphasizing his confidence in the country’s ability to move forward. He pointed to significant military and strategic shifts, arguing that Israel has weakened key adversaries. As a result, he believes the country is entering a new phase.

"Israel has, by the grace of God and the hard work and courage of our soldiers and intelligence services, decimated the Iranian regime's capacity to destroy us, Hezbollah's capacity to destroy us, Hamas..."

“I believe that in six months to a year, everybody in the world is going to see Israel as the superpower, bar none, of any country in the Middle East security,” Rosenberg told Michael.

On the topic of prayer and global Christian support, Rosenberg highlighted that Christians worldwide are actively participating in God’s plan for Israel through prayer and ministry. He and his wife, Lynn, lead THE JOSHUA FUND, a faith-based organization that provides humanitarian relief, supports education and community projects, responds to crises, and mobilizes believers to pray for Israel. Many churches and ministries worldwide support Israel through prayer and various initiatives, collectively strengthening Israel and making a tangible impact. “Hard as it has been, because we're praying, and we're helping, and God is blessing Israel and He's blessing us as we bless us – as He promised,” Rosenberg added.

He framed Israel’s future in hopeful terms, saying that despite the trauma of recent years, the nation is positioned for an unprecedented period of strength and influence. This includes what he sees as a security transformation that has weakened key adversaries and bolstered Israel’s long‑term prospects.

He also predicted economic growth and renewed global interest in Israel. “I think money is going to flow into Israel… I think tourist Christian tourists are going to flow,” he said. “I think the world is going to come into Israel.”

Perhaps most striking was his suggestion that the Middle East could be on the verge of a broader transformation. “We’re going to be going into a stretch… of years, possibly of decades, where people are not thinking of the Middle East as insane,” Rosenberg said. Rosenberg sees the convergence of faith, finance, and geopolitics as a hallmark of Israel’s next chapter.

Still, he cautioned that increased success for Israel may also fuel rising opposition in certain circles, particularly among critics in the West.

The interview concluded with Rosenberg discussing the upcoming Epicenter Summit in Jerusalem, scheduled for April 2027, hosted by THE JOSHUA FUND. The event will gather thousands of Christians from around the world for a “one-day catalytic event” designed to educate and mobilize believers to engage more deeply with Israel and the region.

Ultimately, Rosenberg’s message combines journalistic conviction with theological perspective. In an era of confusing messages and competing narratives, he believes both truth and hope are still within reach – especially for those willing to look beyond headlines and consider the bigger picture.

Joel Rosenberg is also the host of THE ROSENBERG REPORT, a weekly prime-time news and commentary program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
