Report: Most of Egypt’s aid to the Gaza Strip was stolen

A source in the Egyptian committee operating in the Gaza Strip revealed to the pro-Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that a large portion of the Egyptian humanitarian aid that entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing did not reach the distribution warehouses, but was stolen and sold in the markets.
The source added that out of 130 trucks that entered through the Kerem Shalom crossing yesterday, only 37 trucks were actually received by the Egyptian committee and the Palestinian Red Crescent. He noted that Israel returned 20 trucks to the Rafah crossing and left the remaining trucks at the crossing area, not allowing them to pass into the Strip.
The source emphasized that all the trucks that left the Israeli crossing were systematically looted in the Morg route area in southern Gaza, and the cargo – including food baskets, flour, and personal care items – was stolen by unidentified groups and appeared in Gaza’s local markets, where it was openly sold to Palestinians.
