Hamas ‘Sahem’ group filmed executing three people accused of collaborating with Israel in Gaza City
As Western nations recognize Palestinian state, Hamas calls for continued ‘struggle’

The Hamas terrorist organization, which still controls over 20% of the Gaza Strip, was filmed conducting a public execution of three men accused of being “collaborators” with Israel and with the Abu Shabab militia, which has established itself in the territory of Rafah with Israeli support.
Video footage of the execution, carried out in the heart of Gaza City, where the IDF has not yet entered, circulated widely on Hamas-affiliated Telegram channels and other social media platforms just hours before the official recognition of a Palestinian state by Australia and the United Kingdom.
In the video, the three men are forced to kneel on the ground with their hands bound behind them and their eyes blindfolded, while the charges against them were being read aloud by a member of Hamas’ ‘Sahem’ (Arrow) unit.

They are surrounded by masked gunmen from Hamas, while a crowd of cheering people watches and can even be seen filming the event on cellphones and cameras.
Many in the crowd are chanting Hamas slogans or shouting “Allah Akbar” during the reading and the shooting.
After the shooting, the fighters can be seen leaving a paper on the bodies of the men, which reads, "To all mercenaries of the occupation and collaborators – the time has come to cut off your heads.”

The execution comes as the IDF deploys a third group, the 36th Division, into Gaza City in preparation for seizing the stronghold of the remaining Hamas battalions. Until now, the IDF has rarely operated in Gaza City, out of concern for the hostages believed to be held there.
Both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claim to have clashed with groups of Israeli collaborators over the past week, even reporting that some of the militia members were killed or wounded. Hamas also claimed that several “collaborators” turned themselves in to Hamas security forces, asking for "reintegration into society.”
Leaders of Canada, Britain, and Australia claim that their recognition of a Palestinian state is not a reward for Hamas, but the terror group has stated the opposite in its official statements.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the recognition is meant to “move forward,” however, Israeli leaders and former hostages have declared the move as political posturing that will ultimately reward the terror group.
In a statement, Hamas said the recognitions are “an important step in affirming the Palestinian people’s right to their land and holy sites, and in establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. This is a tribute to the struggle, steadfastness and sacrifices of our people on the way to liberation and return.”
Hamas also vowed to continue the struggle, having previously stated that it has no inherent interest in a two-state solution, but would accept such a move – with the agreement of the other Palestinian factions – as a halfway point to conquering the whole land.
Hamas leaders also called on the international community to isolate Israel and engage in punitive measures against the Jewish State.
Meanwhile, the IDF said on Sunday evening that, according to its estimates, approximately 550,000 Palestinian residents of the city have already evacuated the area ahead of the intensifying conflict there.
On Sunday evening, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin stated, “Hamas has shown the world its true strategy: to exploit its own people and prolong this war. That strategy will not succeed. We have no other choice but to fight for our future. Our forces are working day and night, turning over every stone, to bring our hostages home, dismantle Hamas’s terror networks, and secure a safer region for all.”
On Monday, Hamas published a still photo from a video of the hostage Alon Ohel, who can be seen held at gunpoint. The text on the video says “soon,” apparently threatening to eliminate Ohel.

Alon’s parents, Idit and Kobi, said Monday evening that the video left them "shaking and in pain.”
At the same time, Hamas reportedly passed a message to U.S. President Donald Trump stating a willingness to release half of the remaining Israeli hostages in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire. According to Fox News, the letter from Hamas will be passed on to President Trump later this week.
