Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was joined by Israeli politicians across the political spectrum in praising the U.S. decision to strike the Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In a video statement released shortly after President Trump announced the strikes, Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Trump’s decision “will change history.”

Netanyahu also said the action of the U.S. will remain “unsurpassed” and claimed the decision would lead to “prosperity and peace.”

“Congratulations President Trump,” Netanyahu told the U.S. president. “Your bold decision to target Iran's nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history.”

Netanyahu also referenced a standard doctrine of the American Right under former President Ronald Reagan, who often spoke of “peace through strength.”

“First comes strength, then comes peace,” Netanyahu stated. “And tonight, President Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength.”

Netanyahu also thanked Trump on behalf of the people of Israel.

“President Trump, I thank you. The people of Israel thank you. The forces of civilization thank you. God bless America. God bless Israel. And may God bless our unshakable alliance, our unbreakable faith.”

In a message in Hebrew, Netanyahu also confirmed what President Trump said about the coordination and cooperation between the two countries.

“A short time ago, in full coordination between me and President Trump, and in full operational coordination between the IDF and the United States military, the United States attacked Iran's three nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan,” Netanyahu stated.

“Immediately after the operation was completed, President Trump called me. It was a very warm, very moving conversation,” Netanyahu related. “He blessed me, he blessed our army and he blessed our people. And I congratulated him, the United States pilots, and the American people.”

“President Trump is a strong leader of the free world. He is a great friend of Israel, a friend like no other,” Netanyahu continued. “In my name and on behalf of all the citizens of Israel, on behalf of the entire Jewish people, I thank him from the bottom of my heart. And I know, citizens of Israel, that I speak from the bottom of each and every one of your hearts.”

Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, who has often been a go-between for Netanyahu and Trump, posted the traditional SheHecheyanu prayer to 𝕏, after the news of the strikes broke.

“Blessed are You Lord our God, Ruler of the Universe who has given us life, sustained us, and allowed us to reach this day.”

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir posted to 𝕏 in English, saying, “God bless President Trump.”

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said “the world is a safer and better place for Israel and for all of humanity.”

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett posted a message in Hebrew to 𝕏, saying, “United States President Donald Trump has demonstrated the strength of the United States in the face of evil and [shown] its uncompromising leadership against the danger to the entire world.”

Center-right opposition politician Benny Gantz also thanked Trump for making “the world, the Middle East and Israel safer places today.”

“I wish to convey to President Trump and the American people my profound appreciation for their leadership, determination and their clear stand with Israel throughout this campaign and tonight particularly against the Iranian regime,” Gantz wrote to 𝕏.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid also posted a message in English to 𝕏, thanking Trump.

Left-wing Democrats leader Yair Golan said “the American action tonight against Iranian nuclear facilities is impressive, important, and justified.”

He thanked “the United States and President Trump for their firm stance and courageous action.”

While most Israeli politicians thanked U.S. President Donald Trump, ultra-Orthodox Shas party Chairman Aryeh Deri congratulated Prime Minister Netanyahu following the U.S. strikes, saying, "This is a historic day that will be remembered for generations as someone who acted with determination and courage in the face of the threat of annihilation from Iran."

Deri added, "For decades, you have warned, almost alone, against the danger of the Iranian nuclear program... As a believing Jew, I am sure that your sincere concern has earned you a special help from Heaven, to be a faithful emissary of the people of Israel.”

Defense Minister Israel Katz thanked both Trump and Netanyahu in a message posted in Hebrew to 𝕏.

“The alliance between the United States and Israel is stronger than ever for the peace and security of both countries and the entire free world,” he stated.
