Trump blasts former Russian President Medvedev for saying several countries might give Iran nukes

Former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, said on Sunday that several countries were willing to give Iran nuclear weapons.
“A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads,” Medvedev said in a series of posts criticizing the U.S. strikes on Iran.
In the same post, he said that the strikes failed to prevent Iran from continuing with its nuclear program.
“The enrichment of nuclear material – and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons – will continue,” Medvedev said.
Reacting to Medvedev’s remarks, Trump posted on Truth Social.
“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran?” Trump asked. “Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination?”
Responding to Trump’s post, Medvedev clarified that Russia was not among the countries willing to provide nuclear warheads to Iran.
“Regarding President Trump’s concerns: I condemn the US strike on Iran – it failed to achieve its objectives,” he began. “However, Russia has no intention of supplying nuclear weapons to Iran because, unlike Israel, we are parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty.”
“I know quite well what this would entail, having overseen our nuclear forces as president.” Medvedev continued. “But other countries might – and that’s what was said.”
