The Israeli Air Force carried out a strike against a radar north of Tehran, Israeli officials told media outlets.

The strike came despite US President Donald Trump's demand to cancel the strikes completely.


14:48 - Netanyahu told Trump Israeli planes were already conducting strikes

According to reports in Hebrew media, during their phone call, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told U.S. President Donald Trump that IAF planes were already conducting retaliatory strikes and that it was too late to recall them.

The report comes just after reports of explosions north of Tehran.

According to Iran International, Iranian media reported that two explosions were heard in Chamestan, north of Tehran.

14:20 - Netanyahu and Trump reportedly holding phone call over Iranian ceasefire violation

Ynet news reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently speaking with US President Donald Trump over the Iranian ceasefire violation, following Trump's instruction to return the pilots and not attack Iran.

Most Israeli government officials reportedly support carrying out a retaliatory strike.

After IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir had promised, "In light of the severe violation of the ceasefire carried out by the Iranian regime, we will respond with force," U.S. President Donald Trump said that any Israeli retaliation would be considered "a major violation."

13: 45 - Trump accuses 'both sides' of violating ceasefire, Reuters reports

President Donald Trump spoke to reporters has he was leaving the White House to attend the NATO summit. He expressed frustration with both Iran and Israel for ceasefire violations, but particularly appeared to be upset with Israel.

He accused them of dropping "a load of bombs...the biggest load that we've seen."

"I gotta get Israel to calm down now," Trump told reporters as he departed the White House. "Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I've never seen before, the biggest load that we've seen."

"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f--- they're doing," he continued.

Israeli war ships intercepted more than 15 Iranian drones overnight, the military stated.

12:42 - Iran now claims Israel violated ceasefire first, missile launches were a response

After official sources previously denied that Iran had launched the two missiles at northern Israel several hours ago, now, a spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Emergency Command claimed that Israel struck targets in Iran in three waves by 9:00 a.m. local time.

In addition, he threatened that any "Israeli aggression" would be met with a response.

Iranian state media is denying responsibility for the last missile launch at northern Israel.

Additionally, an official 𝕏 account threatened that Israel would bear "full responsibility" for breaking the ceasefire if it responded to the missile fire.

In a situation assessment following the Iranian missile attack that broke the ceasefire, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir said: "In light of the serious violation of the ceasefire committed by the Iranian regime – we will strike with force."

“I have instructed the IDF to respond with force to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire through high-intensity strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran,” Minister of Defense Israel Katz stated.

"In light of Iran’s complete violation of the ceasefire declared by the President of the United States – by launching missiles at Israel – and in accordance with the Israeli government’s policy to respond forcefully to any violation, I have instructed the IDF, in coordination with the Prime Minister, to continue high-intensity operations in Tehran to target regime assets and terror infrastructure in the city."

Following the missile alarm sirens, the IDF shot down a single ballistic missile launched from Iran.

The Home Front Command announced that citizens are allowed to exit their shelters.

In a first official statement since U.S. President Donald Trump declared the ceasefire with Iran, the Israeli government announced, "In light of the operation’s achievements, and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel has agreed to the President’s proposal for a bilateral ceasefire."

"Last night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened the Cabinet together with the Minister of Defense, the IDF Chief of Staff, and the Director of the Mossad to report that Israel has achieved all the objectives of Operation "Rising Lion" – and far beyond."

"Israel has removed an immediate dual existential threat – both in the nuclear domain and in the ballistic missile domain. In addition, the IDF has achieved full air superiority over Tehran’s skies, dealt a severe blow to the military leadership, and destroyed dozens of central regime targets in Iran."

"Over the past 24 hours, the IDF has also delivered heavy blows to regime targets in the heart of Tehran, eliminated hundreds of Basij operatives – the regime’s repression apparatus – and assassinated another senior nuclear scientist."

"Israel thanks President Trump and the United States for their support in defense and for their participation in eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat. In light of the operation’s achievements, and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel has agreed to the President’s proposal for a bilateral ceasefire."

"Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire."

The statement concluded, "This is a tremendous victory for the people of Israel and its fighters, who have eliminated the two existential threats to our country and ensured the eternity of Israel."

09:09 - Lapid: Now it's time to wrap up Gaza War

After a ceasefire with Iran is said to be in effect, Israel's opposition leader Yair Lapid demanded the government to end the war in Gaza as well.

"And now Gaza. This is the moment to close things there too. To bring back the hostages, to end the war. Israel needs to start rebuilding," he wrote on 𝕏.

08:42 - IDF: No need to stay close to shelters, Israeli air space opens again

After allowing citizens to leave the shelters several hours ago, the IDF's Home Front Command said that citizens don't have to stay close to shelters anymore, further loosening the instructions.

In addition, the Israel Airports Authority announced that Israel’s skies have reopened to incoming flights after being closed during the last missile barrages.

08:32 - Iran boasts of having 'the last round of fire'

An official Iranian account on 𝕏 boasted, "We have the last round of fire," after launching six missile barrages, the last one of which was fired after the ceasefire was supposed to have taken effect at 7 a.m. Israeli time.

The post included a stylized picture of the ruined building in Beersheba, where a missile strike killed four people earlier.

According to Army Radio, the six barrages included: 2 missiles fired at the north and the south; 4 missiles at the center and the south; 2 missiles at the center and the south; 2 missiles at the center; one missile at the north; and a final barrage of one missile that targeted northern Israel again.

07:18 – Sirens sound across Israel for nearly two hours, six rounds of fire from Iran - direct hit in Beersheba kills 4 with heavy damage

A woman of around 40 years old, another woman, a man around 40, and a young man around 20 were killed by a direct missile strike that hit an apartment building in Beersheba.

In the severe incident, two others were moderately injured, and six sustained minor injuries. Rescue operations for residents are ongoing.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement claiming that a ceasefire agreement had been reached.

“As of now, there is no agreement, ceasefire, or halt to military operations,” he stated.

However, he added: “If the Israeli regime halts its aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4:00 a.m. Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response. A final decision on halting our operations will be made later.”

Araghchi made the statement after 4:00 a.m. Tehran time.

The Israeli Air Force is carrying out “heavy strikes” across Iran, targeting dozens of locations, including in the capital city of Tehran. This follows reports of “powerful explosions” in the city. According to the French news agency AFP, the explosions were heard in northern and central Tehran and were among “the most intense” since the beginning of the war.

A senior White House official told Reuters that President Donald Trump spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent hours about the ceasefire with Iran.

According to the official, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff held “direct and indirect talks with the Iranians to mediate the ceasefire.”

The official added that Israel agreed to the proposal on the condition that Iran “launches no further attacks,” and that Iran signaled to the U.S. that such attacks “will not take place.”

01:44 – IDF issues evacuation warning for two additional areas in Tehran

The IDF's Persian-language spokesperson, Sgt. Maj. (res.) Kamal Penhasi, issued an additional evacuation warning to residents of Tehran for the Maharan area and District 6.

He warned: “The Israeli army will operate in these areas, as it has in recent days across Iran, to strike the Iranian regime’s military infrastructure."

"Dear citizens, for your safety and well-being, we ask that you immediately leave the areas marked on the map and refrain from approaching them in the coming hours. Your presence in these areas endangers your life.”
