U.S. President Donald Trump demanded the Iranian regime's "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER" in a post on the Truth Social media platform

In an earlier post, Trump wrote: "We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

19:11 - IDF air defenses thwart Iranian missile attack on Beersheva region

After alarm sirens were activated in the Beersheva region because of a missile attack from Iran, the IDF announced that residents could leave their shelters.

According to media reports, the volley only included a handful of missiles and there were no reports of impacts in Israel.

The IDF intercepted an Iranian missile, while another fell outside of Israel's borders.

The missile attack triggered alarm sirens across central Israel and western Samaria.

The Israel Air Force recently completed a wave of attacks on surface-to-surface missile sites in Iran, the IDF announced.

Air Force jets recently completed a wave of strikes in western Iran, targeting several sites and dozens of surface-to-surface missile launchers.

Iranian news sites report loud explosions in the capital city of Tehran.

13:55 - Iranian Foreign Minister says Israel trying to draw other nations into conflict with Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Israel's targeting of Iran’s oil facilities in the Persian Gulf is an attempt to escalate the conflict and involve other actors, Iranian state media reported.

In a phone call with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, Araghchi warned that the Israeli attack on Iran's energy infrastructure was meant to draw other nations into the conflict.

13:00 - Iran claims to have hit Israeli military intelligence site

Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) claimed in an official statement to have "hit the military intelligence center of the Zionist regime 'Military Intelligence' and the terrorist planning center of the Zionist regime 'Mossad' in Tel Aviv. The place is on fire now."

This is in reference to the barrage launched this morning at Israeli territory around 8:45 a.m.

The IDF has not released any statement confirming or denying the claim.

11:55 - Reports of hacking attacks on Iranian banks

There are reports in Iran of a large-scale cyberattack against banks in the country. Iranian citizens across the country reported being unable to withdraw money from ATMs.

According to Iran International, a news site affiliated with the Iranian opposition, the group behind the attack, called Predatory Sparrow, has claimed responsibility for previous cyber operations against the regime.

The Iranian regime has accused the hacker group of having foreign backing, including from Israel.

11:35 - IDF intercepted a drone from the east

The IDF said that following sirens that sounded in a number of areas in northern Israel between 10:59 and 11:05, a UAV that was launched toward Israeli territory from the east was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force.

Sirens warning of rocket and missile launches were activated due to the potential risk of falling shrapnel from interception efforts.

10:40 - Over 2,000 Israelis temporarily homeless due to missile strikes on Monday

According to official information cited by the Times of Israel, some 2,000 people were rendered temporarily homeless due to damage wrought by Iranian missile attacks on Monday.

In Petah Tikva, around 400 families, or 1,300 people, had to leave their homes after a missile hit an apartment building, killing four people.

Two missile impacts in Tel Aviv rendered another 300 people unable to access their homes. In Bnei Brak, several hundreds more suffered the same fate, while in Haifa, 60 people were evacuated.

According to the report, similar numbers of people had to leave their homes following missile strikes on the preceding days.

09:43 - IDF shoots down around 30 Iranian drones overnight

The Israeli Air Force shot down around 30 Iranian drones launched at Israel in the past 12 hours, the military stated.

Most of the drones were intercepted outside of Israeli territory, while others managed to enter the Golan Heights before being shot down.


09:25 - 10 Israelis lightly injured while running toward shelter amid missile attack

Ten Israelis were treated for light injuries they sustained as they ran toward a shelter amid the latest missile attack from Iran, according to Magen David Adom rescue services.

This is the only report of injuries from the attack so far.

Israeli media reported that one missile directly hit a bus without passengers in Herzliya.

08:54 – Reports of impacts in north Tel Aviv, possibly another in TA region

Following the missile alarms, initial reports suggested there were two impacts in the Greater Tel Aviv region.

According to Magen David Adom rescue services, there were no immediate reports of injuries at the impact sites.

 

08:52 – Alarm sirens across Israel amid new Iranian missile attack

Alarm sirens were activated after the Iranian regime launched a fresh wave of missile strikes at Israel.

Residents in the areas of central Samaria, Tel Aviv, the coastal region north of Tel Aviv, as well as Judea, were instructed to remain in their shelters.

Leaders of the G7 nations, gathered at a summit in Canada, issued a joint statement addressing the ongoing war between Israel and Iran. In the declaration, they urged both sides to avoid further escalation, advocating for a resolution that includes a ceasefire in Gaza.

The statement affirmed Israel’s right to self-defense and called on it to “protect civilians.”

The leaders further asserted that “Iran is the primary source of instability and terrorism in the region,” emphasizing, “We have always been clear: Iran must never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.”

05:57 – Golani soldier Staff Sgt Naveh Lashem killed in Khan Younis blast, four others seriously wounded

The IDF stated that Staff Sergeant Naveh Lashem, a 20-year-old soldier from Nokdim and a fighter in the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion, was killed in combat in southern Gaza.

He was killed following the detonation of an explosive device planted by Hamas operatives on a Namer armored personnel carrier (APC) that he and his comrades were operating.

The incident also left a combat officer and three other soldiers from the 12th Battalion seriously wounded.

An American official told The New York Times overnight that U.S. President Donald Trump urged Vice President JD Vance, and U.S. envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, to “propose a meeting with the Iranians this week.” According to the paper, the offer is expected to be welcomed enthusiastically.

A similar report appeared on CNN, citing both a U.S. official and another source who confirmed that Trump instructed his team to try to arrange talks with Iranian representatives “as soon as possible.”

The report stated that Trump is acting with urgency to determine whether Tehran is genuinely interested in a diplomatic path to resolve the conflict with Israel.

Air raid sirens are currently being activated across multiple areas in northern Israel, from the Upper Galilee down to Pardes Hanna-Karkur.

For the fourth time in recent hours, no advance warning was given to residents prior to the incoming fire from Iran.

Meanwhile, Pentagon Spokesperson Sean Parnell denied reports of a U.S. military strike in Iran and reaffirmed the defensive status of U.S. forces in the Middle East: “That has not changed,” he wrote on 𝕏.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed last night that the United States is sending additional military forces to the Middle East, stating that he had ordered a reinforcement of the region’s “defensive capabilities.”

While he did not specify what assets were involved, reports indicated that the U.S. had deployed dozens of military refueling aircraft to Europe and redirected the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

The move is reportedly intended to provide President Donald Trump with “options” amid potential developments in the conflict between Israel and Iran.

Hegseth emphasized that the goal of the deployment is to enhance U.S. defensive posture. “Protecting American forces is our top priority, and these deployments are intended to bolster our defensive readiness in the region,” he wrote on 𝕏.

00:59 - Trump: Iran wants a deal

U.S. President Donald Trump said last night that Iran "needs to make a deal" regarding its nuclear program, and claimed that Iran "wants" to do so. Speaking alongside British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the G7 Summit in Alberta, Canada, Trump asserted that Iran is "actually already at the negotiating table."

He added, “As soon as we leave this place, we’re going to do something.”

“I believe a deal will be made – or something will happen – but a deal will be signed. I think Iran would be foolish not to sign it.”
