21:57 - Iran begins retaliatory attacks with launch of at least 150 missiles

The Iranian regime has launched at least 150 and up to 300 missiles at Israel, triggering several rounds of sirens across the country.

Several impacts, either of missile parts or intact warheads, were reported in the Tel Aviv area.

The Magen David Adom Rescue service reported that seven people were treated for light to moderate wounds.

20:35 - IDF Spokesman: We struck Isfahan nuclear facility

IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin announced that the Israeli Air Force has attacked the Iranian nuclear facility in Isfahan, after striking the nuclear facility in Natanz earlier in the day.

Defrin called on Israelis to remain vigilant and continue to obey safety instructions, warning that despite the damage it suffered, Iran still has "the capability to significantly harm the Israeli home front."

20:07 - IDF orders Israelis to stay near air raid shelters ahead of possible Iranian retaliation

The IDF's Home Front command issued new instructions to Israeli citizens via phone alarms, ordering "residents across the country to remain close to protected spaces."

“Movement in public areas should be minimized, and public gatherings must be avoided. Upon receiving an alert, enter a protected space and remain there until an official update is issued,” the IDF added.

15:15 - More waves of Israeli strikes in Iran

Following last night’s rocket sirens in Israel, three people were hospitalized for shock, and four others were injured while running to shelters.

Iranian media report additional strikes on the nuclear facility in Natanz, a key site in Iran’s nuclear program.

Multiple explosions have since been reported in the Iranian city of Hamadan, including a powerful blast near a military base.

Israeli officials say the country is preparing for at least two weeks of heightened tensions with Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump praised Israel’s strike on Iran, calling it “excellent,” and added that “more are on the way.”

In a post to his Truth Social network, U.S. President Donald Trump called on Iran to agree to a deal over its nuclear program before "there is nothing left."

"There has already been great death and destruction," Trump said, calling on the regime to "save what was once known as the Iranian empire."

"No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE," the president wrote.

13:39 - New Israeli wave of strikes hit Tabriz and Shiraz areas in Iran

The Israeli Air Force embarked on a new wave of strikes in Iran and hit sites in Tabriz, including an airport, Shiraz, and the Natanz nuclear facility, according to media reports.

13:27 - IDF eliminated IRGC Air Force commander and senior chain of command - 20 senior commanders overall

The IDF announced that the entire senior chain of command of the Air Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) was killed in an overnight strike.

They "had assembled in an underground command center to prepare for an attack on the State of Israel," the IDF said.

"IAF fighter jets struck the command center where the Commander of the IRGC’s Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, was located along with other senior officials."

According to Reuters, at least 20 senior Iranian commanders have been confirmed to be killed so far.

The IDF said that the Israel Air Force destroyed ballistic missile launchers in Iran aimed at the state of Israel.

The IDF Home Front Command announced that there is currently no need to stay near protected areas across Israel.

Limitations on public gatherings, workplaces and schools will stay in place for now.

The announcement came after all of the some 100 drones launched by Iran were shot down outside of Israeli territory, without triggering alarm sirens in Israel.

In recent hours, Israeli Air Force fighter jets completed a broad wave of strikes that destroyed "dozens of radar systems and surface-to-air missile launchers," the IDF stated.

"Throughout the war, the IDF has systematically targeted the air defense systems of the Iranian regime and its proxies in the Middle East. These strikes enhance the Israeli Air Force's freedom of action in the air."

According to a briefing by an Israeli security source to local news outlets: "The Mossad carried out a series of covert actions in Iran aimed at harming Iran’s strategic missile system and its air defense capabilities. As part of their operations, Mossad agents took significant steps to deploy special weapons on a large scale, distribute them across Iran, and launch them accurately and effectively at targeted objectives."

Mossad commandos deployed operational systems of precision-guided munitions (PGMs) as well as sophisticated technologies in central Iran, activating them with the onset of the Israeli offensive to take out Iranian air defense systems.

In addition, the Mossad established a base for explosive drones deep within Iranian territory, which were activated overnight and struck surface-to-surface missile launchers at the Aspijabad base near Tehran.

09:45 Israeli Air Force begins intercepting Iranian drones outside of Israeli borders

The Israeli Air Force has begun intercepting and shooting down Iranian drones outside of the country's borders, according to Army Radio.

A military source told the outlet that the Israeli Air Force is currently intercepting the drones on its own, but expects U.S. assistance later in the day.

Air raid sirens were activated in the Jordanian capital of Amman, and state media reported that drones were intercepted in the country’s airspace.

Several other opposition leaders expressed their support for the security services without mentioning the government explicitly.

08:02 IDF: "We eliminated the 3 most senior military officials of the Iranian regime"

The IDF reported that it has eliminated the three most senior military commanders of the Iranian regime: Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, Commander of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Hossein Salami, and Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Ali Rashid, who also serves as the deputy Chief of Staff of Iran.

This confirmation came after Iran also acknowledged their elimination.

“During the night, more than 200 Air Force fighter jets, guided by precise intelligence from the Intelligence Directorate, attacked over 100 targets across Iran, including the hiding places of senior Iranian military leaders,” the statement said.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi claimed that the Israeli strikes could not have occurred without approval or coordination with the U.S.

According to him, "The United States, as the main supporter of this regime, will bear responsibility for the dangerous consequences of this reckless adventure."

IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin stated: "In a precise operation overnight, more than 100 targets across Iran were attacked. Leaders of the nuclear program were targeted, and senior leaders and commanders were eliminated. We have been monitoring developments in Iran for years."

"Iran launched over 100 drones at Israel. We are working to intercept the threats," he added.

The drones are expected to reach Israel in approximately three to five hours, and the Air Force is also preparing for a possible simultaneous missile barrage.

Additionally, a replacement was appointed for the Chief of Staff of Iran’s military, who was killed in the Israeli strike – General Habibollah Sayyari.

During the initial waves of strikes in Iran, Israel hit at least ten Iranian nuclear scientists, and several nuclear sites were damaged. There is an intention in Israel to target additional nuclear facilities.

Senior Israeli officials told Kan News: "We are only at the beginning – this is an unfolding event. There will also be a response directed at Israel due to the significant damage; it will not go unanswered by Iran."
