Jews, Zionists, Israel, the Israeli flag – It’s all one

The, “I have nothing against Jews, only Israel or Zionists” excuse has been adjudicated in a court of law, and guess what – it was all found to be one intrinsically-linked thing. All of those words, in one way or another, represent the very same thing.

“A federal court in Washington has ruled that intentionally attacking a Jewish individual for wearing an Israeli flag constitutes direct evidence of racial discrimination.”

That is because the Star of David, in the middle of the flag, is associated with the Jewish race, just as it would be if worn on a gold chain. Thrown out, was the contention that trying to yank the flag was merely a political objection. 

Instead, the judge found that an attack on a racial symbol constitutes an attack on the race itself.  In this case, the attacker ended up nearly choking the wearer of the flag whose identity was unknown. Consequently, the attacker’s claim of the wearer being politically affiliated with Israel could not be substantiated.

In essence, the judge ruled that separating the politics from the ethnicity is not possible since both bear the same particular identity. Why is this significant? 

Because ever since October 7, antisemites have done their best to cleverly blur those lines. Rather than take responsibility for their persecutory actions, they would hide behind the “objectionable policies” of the Jewish state or blame the nation’s 78-year existence as the justified reason for a barbaric massacre that targeted innocent citizens.

But it didn’t end there. Once Israel responded to that attack militarily, the “Zionist” pejorative kicked in with a vengeance, accusing anyone who defended the right of a Jewish homeland as racist, bigoted or part of the oppressor class.  

It didn’t matter if they lived in Israel or New York. All Jews became Zionists, and all Zionists were hated and fair game for persecution. Under the protective cover of politics, it worked, because the haters could obfuscate by using their “go-to” alibi, assuring everyone that they do not detest Jews, only the policies and politics of the Jewish government of Israel.

It was effective grounds when pulling out the “genocide” card. Of course, the irony was not lost on those who recognized the murderous acts of October 7 as the true attempt at genocide, given that thousands of Hamas terrorists had invaded Israel, with the plan to begin their death campaign in southern communities that border Gaza, then continuing northward, all the way to Tel Aviv.

Ostensibly, the death toll could have mounted into the tens of thousands, had they not been stopped. Does that not qualify as the intent to commit genocide? 

That important genesis of what took place was quickly buried, along with the dead, and, in record time, replaced by the same accusation, only with Israel as the guilty party.  

By that reckoning, any military response was represented as genocide, a claim which is still being hurled against the Jewish state and anyone sharing the same ethnicity.

But now, there is an important distinction, made by a court of law, which acknowledges that the people, the religion, their homeland and their existence are all indivisible, each acting as an intrinsic component which compose the core essence of each Jew. 

Given that understanding, it means that antisemites will no longer be able to dishonestly hide behind the convenient excuse of national politics that has shielded them from being rightly identified as Jew haters or racial bigots. 

Heaven forbid that they are seen as anything but seekers of justice who are merely coming to the defense of the “innocent and defenseless” residents of Gaza, whose suffering and deprivation, they claim, are wholly the fault of the Zionist colonialists who had it coming after dispossessing Palestinians from their land.

But their fallacious characterization of Gazans is as disingenuous as the “political justifications” they have attempted to employ when publicly expressing their contempt for Jews.  

Knowing that they would expose themselves as antisemites, the Zionist label, as a political cover, would serve their interests in the same way that Adam and Eve hoped fig leaves would cover the sin they had committed. What didn’t work then, doesn’t work today.  

There is no camouflaging of the evil that is directed at the Jewish people. The attempt to disguise the wickedness of the heart, that is filled with malice, vengeance and malevolence, towards a particular race, is too great a stain to cover up.  

It permeates the soul, taking over the mind and infecting every part of the individual who can only focus on how they can eliminate the subject of their revulsion, starting by portraying them as the greatest enemy of mankind. 

But this latest ruling has outed antisemites for the cowardly hypocrites that they are. Called out for their deceit, they can no longer continue their pretext of virtue signaling, white-washing their true intent. Now, they are stuck with the genuine mark of being Jew haters.

Yes, they can still swear that they have nothing against Jews, but how will they be able to back that up when persecuting Jewish students on an American campus? Or how will they justify attacks targeted at synagogues in Europe or Australia? What about Jewish day schools in Canada? 

Will they be able to link Diaspora Jews to the State of Israel or will they contend that the connection exists by virtue of their indelible ethnic tie? If that is the plan, then world Jewry is in for a rough ride, because they will continue to be targets for maltreatment and victimization regardless of their political orientation or geographical presence.

But that’s the goal of those who hate God’s chosen. It was never really about a homeland, because Jews have been despised for centuries, well before the modern state came into existence.

Held with contempt by a variety of host countries, throughout the ages, Jews had the misfortune of being seen as a people who imposed their presence on populations that often barely tolerated them and always turned against them, blaming them for whatever went wrong in their societies.

Back then, without the political element, they just blatantly expressed their hatred, without a disguise. Now, thanks to one courageous judge, who recognized the truth, antisemites will have to admit their hatred of Jews without the benefit of the political excuse.
