PM Netanyahu: No interest in talks with Iran now | US reinforces troops in Middle East | 3 people killed by missile hit on Haifa oil refinery last night

19:58 - All clear in northern Israel, no reports of injuries or damage

The IDF Home Front Command gave the all-clear after missile alarms were activated across northern Israel.

There were no reports of impacts, all missiles were either intercepted or fell in open areas. One fall caused a fire but there were no reports of injuries or serious damage.

19:50 - PM Netanyahu: No interest in talks with Iran at this moment

Speaking with ABC News, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he has no interest at the moment to start ceasefire talks with Iran.

The statement followed reports that Iran had reached out to mediators to stop the Israeli strikes.

The prime minister also said that he would not rule out a strike against Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

19:37 - Air raid sirens sound across northern Israel after missile launch from Iran

Alarm sirens were activated across northern Israel due to missile launches from Tehran, according to the IDF.

19:20 - Israeli Air Force strikes trucks carrying missiles toward Tehran

The Israeli Air Force continues to demonstrate its air superiority above Iran as it identified "several trucks containing weapons, including surface-to-air missile launchers, advancing from western Iran toward Tehran, while attempting to escape IDF strikes."

"However, we struck the trucks, neutralizing the weapons and launchers," the military said, also releasing footage of the strikes.


18:18 - US moves tanker aircraft & aircraft carrier to Middle East

After a day-long speculation about the destination of a large number of US tanker aircraft seen taking off in the direction of the Middle East, two US officials confirmed to Reuters that the planes would be deployed to the Middle East.

The USS Nimitz carrier strike group was also heading to the region as part of a move to provide options to President Donald Trump, the officials added.

18:00 - IDF shoots down Iranian drone above Golan Heights

Alarm sirens were activated in Avnei Eitan and three other towns in the southern Golan Heights following a drone infiltration from Iran.

The all-clear was given some 15 minutes later.


17:50 - Israel acknowledges: 3 people killed in Haifa during hit on oil refinery

The three people killed in Haifa last night were workers in the Bazan oil refinery complex, the IDF cleared for publication.

The statement follows rumors that the strategically important factory, which has been targeted by Iran as well as Hezbollah in the past, had been hit by an Iranian missile.

The IDF said that the missile impact caused “localized damage”.

13:50 - IDF withdraws elite Commando Division from Gaza Strip as it increases border security

The IDF said it withdrew the elite 98th Commando Division from the Gaza Strip amid the war with Iran.

After Israel's strikes against Iran began, the military reduced the troop size in Gaza, leaving 4 divisions with reduced forces in the enclave.

The Nahal Brigade was moved to reinforce the defense in Judea and Samaria, while a new division was deployed to the Jordanian border to prevent possible infiltrations by pro-Iranian militias.

12:49 - Last three activists from 'selfie yacht' deported from Israel via Jordan

The last three activists from the Madleen boat (dubbed the "selfie yacht" by Israel), who tried to break Israel’s blockade against Gaza last week, were deported via the Allenby Crossing to Jordan, the Foreign Ministry stated.

They are Marco van Rennes of the Netherlands, and the Frenchmen Pascal Maurieras and Yanis Mhamdi.

11:17 - Iranian drone crosses country east to west, shot down near coast

An Iranian drone evaded attempts to intercept it and penetrated Israeli air space near Beit Shean before crossing the entire breadth of the country and approaching the coast near the town of Caesarea.

There, it was shot down by Air Force helicopters. The private home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is located in Caesarea, while the power station of Hadera is also nearby.

10:31 - Latest update: 370 missiles launched from Iran, 24 Israelis killed and over 590 wounded

Since the start of the war, the Iranian regime has launched over 370 ballistic missiles toward Israel, according to the latest official update.

Thirty of the missiles penetrated the air defenses and impacted in Israel, killing 24 civilians and wounding 592 others.

Of these, 10 are in serious condition, 36 in moderate condition and 546 have minor injuries.

In addition, the Iranian regime fired hundreds of drones at Israel, most of which were intercepted or fell short.

10:27 - Houthi missile triggers sirens across Negev, falls outside of Israel's borders

A missile launched by the Yemeni Houthi rebels triggered alarm sirens across the northern Negev desert, but crashed outside the borders of Israel without causing damage.

09:48 - Israeli Navy ships shoot down eight Iranian drones overnight

The Israeli Navy announced that its missile ships shot down eight Iranian drones overnight.

This marked the first operational use of the long-range "LRAD" interceptor and the "Barak Magen" defense system, which is mounted on the Saar 6 ships and can intercept drones, missiles, rockets, and coastal missiles.

Since the start of the war, the navy has shot down 25 Iranian drones, the military stated.

09:30 - Three missing people found dead at impact site in Haifa

Three people who were missing after last night's missile impact in Haifa were found dead in the rubble, raising the death toll from last night to eight.

Overall, 22 Israelis have been killed by Iran's ballistic missiles since the war began.

09:15 - WATCH: IDF eliminates launch crew seconds before firing missile at Israel

The Israeli military released footage of a strike on an Iranian missile launch crew on its way to carry out a launch against Israel yesterday.

"The Air Force identified and eliminated surface-to-air missile launch troops seconds before they reached a launcher south of Tehran. The troops were eliminated and the launcher was dismantled," the IDF said.

"The IAF continues to operate to achieve air superiority across Iran."

08:44 – Five Israelis dead, over 100 wounded by overnight missile strikes

Five Israelis were killed and over 100 others were wounded in five impact sites in the Tel Aviv and Haifa areas, after the Iranian regime launched a volley of around 100 ballistic missiles at Israel overnight.

Two women and a man, all in their 70s, were killed by a direct hit on an apartment building in Petah Tikva.

Another person and a man in his 80s were killed by a missile strike in Bnei Brak.

At another site in Haifa, searches are still ongoing as three people are suspected to be missing and could be trapped under rubble. The missile also caused a fire at the scene.

 

08:40 – US consulate in Tel Aviv damaged by missile explosion

Property of the U.S. embassy suffered minor damage after a missile struck Tel Aviv overnight, Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee reported.

Huckabee added that the embassy and consulate would remain closed today.

 

08:28 – DM Katz: Iran’s ‘arrogant dictator’ is ‘cowardly murderer’ who fires at civilians

After another night of Iranian missile attacks on the Israeli homefront, Defense Minister Israel Katz said, “The arrogant dictator from Tehran has become a cowardly murderer who fires targeted shots at the civilian home front in Israel to deter the IDF from continuing the attack that is collapsing its capabilities.”

“The residents of Tehran will pay the price, and soon,” Katz threatened.

 

06:03 – Underground parts of Natanz nuclear site may have imploded, says Israeli official

After intense Israeli bombardment in recent days, the underground part of the Iranian nuclear facility in Natanz “may have imploded,” an Israeli official told the Wall Street Journal.

The official added that additional assessments were needed. 

05:32 – Police search for journalists who broadcast live missile impacts contrary to IDF instructions

Following missile impacts in sensitive locations in the Haifa area, Israel Police said its officers are searching for international media journalists, including from Al Jazeera, who broadcast the missile attacks, and the impact sites live on air.

Publication of the exact locations of missile impacts is forbidden under instructions of the IDF’s military censorship, as it could help the Iranian regime to receive feedback and calibrate its future missile strikes.

“Coastal District police vehicles set out to conduct a search and handle the incident,” a police spokesman said.

05:02 – Reports of explosions at Fordow underground nuclear site in Iran

Local residents hear loud explosions in the area of Iran’s Fordow nuclear site, according to Iran International.

Israel has so far not announced any strikes at the facility, which is buried under a mountain at depths of some 80 meters (260 feet). Most experts assess that Israel would need the assistance of the U.S. Air Force's heaviest bombers in order to destroy the underground site.
