Calling Zionism ‘racism’ denies Jewish history and God’s promise to Israel
The book of Genesis is very much a foundation of our faith.
It is also the foundation of the State of Israel.
God made a promise to Abraham. It wasn't just a promise; it was a covenant in blood.
God told Abraham to bring a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon. Abraham cut the animals in two and laid the halves opposite each other. God passed between them, basically saying, “May I be split in two if I break that covenant.”
Genesis 15:17-21:
“When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates – the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.’” (NIV)
God spoke to Abraham about the promise. He spoke to Isaac about the promise, and He spoke to Jacob about the promise.
Many times, He repeated the promise and added more.
We find out that the promise goes through Isaac and not Ishmael.
We find out that it is an eternal promise.
God made a promise, and He keeps His promises.
Just recently, the Green Party of the UK voted and declared that Zionism is racism.
Really?
Jews going back to a land that they once owned is racism?
Jews going to a land that was promised by God is racism?
So, is God a racist?
It seems to me that the Green Party, headed by Zack Polanski, is on a collision course with God, and I don't think it is going to end well.
How can returning to an ancestral homeland be racist?
How can going back to a land where, if you dig in Jerusalem, you will find coins and artifacts proving without a doubt that the Jews were there, be racist?
How can it be racist when you can go to Hebron and visit the grave of Abraham, the man with whom God made an awesome covenant?
You can also visit the tombs of Isaac and Jacob, to whom the promise was extended. The Bible talks about these men receiving a promise, and it is not a fairy tale because you can visit their very graves.
How can it be racist when tourists can go and visit the tomb of David, the great king of Israel who was king in Hebron and later Jerusalem?
Jesus the Jew walked the land 2,000 years ago. He was a Jew and not a Palestinian, as some of the woke mob seem to think. Read history and find the truth.
The Jews have made their mark all over the Holy Land, so to say that they are now racist for wanting to return to their historical and ancestral home is complete nonsense and just an agenda-ridden motion.
Many Bible-believing Christians around the world recognize Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people according to God's promise. Are they now racist?
I am a proud Zionist. Am I now a racist?
This vote by the Green Party just gives antisemites the fuel they need, with a feeling of legitimacy to attack Jewish people. After all, they are racist!
Ultimately, to come to a conclusion like this, you have to take the God of the Bible and His promises out of the equation. To me, that just feels so sad.
It is sad that the Green Party, which was once about the environment, is polluting the world with this toxic hate.
God have mercy.
