One organization is bringing firsthand testimony from Israel directly into churches, Christian schools and faith-based communities across North America to provide a human connection and counteract rampant misinformation.

Through presentations featuring IDF reservists, Nova Festival survivors, Holocaust descendants and lone soldiers, Strong Voices for Israel is creating deeply personal encounters that go far beyond headlines and social media narratives.

Co-founder Liz Becker explained the heart behind the ministry.

“We want them to have another connection to Israel as well, not just scripture. We want them to see Israel on a different side, on a different level, and have that human connection,” she said.

Becker described emotional moments where Christian families traveled hours simply to meet an Israeli soldier they had been praying for, adding that these face-to-face encounters carry a weight that online debates cannot replicate.

She emphasized the importance of firsthand testimony in an age of confusion and misinformation.

“A logical person that is having that experience and hearing the words and how that person is speaking will know whether it’s authentic or not,” she said.

Becker also explained that one of her personal missions is helping Jews and Christians build trust and understanding during a difficult global climate marked by rising antisemitism and cultural division.

“This is all about bringing our communities together,” she said. “It is a very, very scary time for Jews worldwide.”

As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, Becker carries a deeply personal burden to preserve truth for younger generations. She shared moving experiences speaking to teenagers who were eager to learn more about the Holocaust and Jewish history at a time when denial and historical revisionism are increasingly common online.

Becker said her motivation derives from the miracle of her father surviving the Holocaust, “which means we are here for a reason. That is my mission, and that’s my why.”
