Teenager dies from wounds, number of injured rises to 24 after explosion near Lebanese border

After the detonation of what is suspected to have been an unexploded cluster bomb near the Lebanese border, an Israeli teenager who was critically wounded has passed away, and the number of the other wounded has risen to 24.

The IDF has updated that "an initial review by IDF soldiers at the scene indicates that the explosion was likely caused by an unexploded cluster munition belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization that had remained in the area."

Seven wounded children, including two in serious condition and five with minor injuries, were received at Ziv Medical Center in Safed, according to the hospital, while Rambam Health Care Center in Haifa said it admitted three teenagers and one adult, without specifying their injuries.
