The Gaza genocide claim is a dangerous lie – and history shows where lies about Jews can lead

Boy George sings, “It’s not genocide, it’s war,” and yet many in the world still peddle the genocide myth.

I read recently in ALL ISRAEL NEWS that more than 6,000 signatories, including prominent historians, academics and legal experts, have signed an open letter entitled, “We must unite in repudiating the lie of genocide,” rejecting the charge that Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza and describing the accusation as a modern antisemitic “blood libel.”

This is quite significant. Historians who understand past genocides and legal experts who understand the law are standing with one voice and saying no to the genocide claim.

Cambridge University tells us that anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian commentators and groups began raising accusations of “genocide” or warning of impending mass atrocities in Gaza as early as Oct. 8, 2023.

They had an agenda, and they continue to have an agenda, even when there was no evidence of genocide.

It was all about destroying the reputation of Israel and the Jewish people.

It is a good thing if more and more people come out and declare that there is no genocide. It is good that people know that the IDF drops leaflets over an area that it is going to bomb because these are hardly the actions of a genocidal maniac.

The problem I think Israel has today is overcoming the genocide lie.

No matter what Israel does, no matter how many experts come forward and give evidence, some people will simply not believe it. Even if there were 100% evidence, they wouldn’t believe it because it doesn’t fit their agenda.

Not only that, I believe that in years to come, they will continue to repeat the lie again and again.

I fear it is a lie that will never be broken. But for those who do want to be a broken record, I suggest that they look to Nigeria, where a real and genuine genocide is taking place among our Christian brothers.

Please, please let the world know that a real genocide is taking place, as you are a champion of the genocide claim. If you truly do care about genocide, then what is happening in Nigeria is a worthy cause.

Please do buy a Nigerian flag and fly it high. Please march in the streets, highlighting the genocide of our African brothers.

The Israel genocide claim is antisemitic nonsense. It is Jew hatred at its worst. It is stirring people’s hearts to hate Jews, Israel and Zionists.

We must stand and stand strong. We must educate and correct because a lie has power.

A lie has the power to destroy someone’s life.

We saw in 1930s Germany how lies about the Jews hardened people’s hearts, which could then be exploited and ultimately ended in the murder of 6 million Jews.

A lie can do incredible damage. It can destroy a reputation.

A serpent’s lie brought sin into the world. Ananias and Sapphira’s lie cost them their lives. Jesus Yeshua told us that the devil is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).

The devil has birthed a genocide lie, and we need to be wise and discerning to recognize that lie, its power and the consequences of that lie for the Jewish people.

We are in a spiritual battle, and the father of lies is working behind the scenes to destroy a nation that is the apple of God’s eye.

Whose side are you on?
