Iran orders Hezbollah to be prepared for resumption of war with US - report

The Iranian regime ordered its Lebanese proxy group, Hezbollah, to raise its preparedness ahead of an expected US attack on Iran, two diplomatic sources told The Jerusalem Post.

Hezbollah leaders were told to prepare their forces: "We estimate that an American attack is a matter of time - you should also be prepared," Tehran's message reportedly said.

The Post's report followed an earlier story in the Emirati site Erem News, which said that all full-time Hezbollah operatives were recently summoned and told that the orders are to prepare for a near-term scenario but that a final decision hasn't been taken yet.

The report also stated that Hezbollah was instructed to adopting elements of Iran's "mosaic defense" doctrine, which includes minimizing dependence on a central command structure and maximize indepenent operations by cells, as a counter to the Israeli and American assassinations of senior leaders.
