‘A grave is not a home’: Bibas family demands truth about Oct 7 massacre

Ofri Bibas, sister of former Israeli hostage Yarden Bibas, called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to finally disclose the truth about what happened on Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas-led terrorists massacred 1,200 Israelis, including her sister-in-law, Shiri, 32, and her nephews Ariel, 4, and Kfir, 9 months.

In a statement issued by the October Council, Ofri responded to Netanyahu’s statement that “we brought everyone home.”

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote today 'we brought everyone home.' And I want to ask him: to what home exactly? In Yarden's home, there is no more Shiri. No more Ariel. No more Kfir. The house is empty. Only Yarden is there,” she said.

“A grave is not a home,” she continued. While acknowledging that the loved ones killed on Oct. 7 cannot be brought back, she insisted, “but you owe us the full truth” about what happened.
