When the devil doesn’t disguise himself anymore

When the headlines in the morning paper read, “Iranian children recruited for Islamic Republic’s self-sacrifice,” you know that the devil is no longer disguising himself anymore!

Is anyone naïve enough to believe, as George W. Bush, and other world leaders, once said, “Islam is a religion of peace?” And while they may preface that statement by qualifying their intention as “moderate” Islam, are we not witnessing a dramatic shift to an extreme, violent and radical version of the faith, replacing whatever the old variant was?

After all, which God demands the sacrificial death of innocent children who have hardly had a chance to explore the meaning of life? Who is this deity that cares nothing for the blessing of his creation? And how are parents supposed to worship a divine being, whose blood lust is not satisfied until their children become the innocent lambs placed on the altar of libation?

If you knew nothing about Islam, or the nation that has defined itself by taking on its name to identify their regime, these headlines are enough to reveal that the devil is really in the details!

According to the Iranian Labour News Agency, “children under the age of 15 will soon be given training to join the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Janfada (self-sacrifice) campaign. 

And if you thought that this horror is only reserved for boys, it will also be open to girls after they turn the age of 18. All this, despite the opposition by international humanitarian law, “including the Geneva Convention, prohibiting the recruitment of minors under the age of 15 by both state armed forces and non-state armed groups.”

This insidious announcement coincides on the same week that Israelis are commemorating the biblical holiday of Succoth, marking the miraculous, divine protection and temporary shelter provided by God for the children of Israel during their 40-years of wandering in the wilderness, after having been delivered from bondage in Egypt. 

What a stark contrast! One faith celebrates protection and the preservation of life, while the other glorifies and advances the death of children.

It would be interesting to find out if those tender-aged recruits will be coming from IRGC families or from ordinary Iranian citizens who may not support the regime and, yet, be expected to turn over their children for the sake of the “cause.” 

And, if they are opposed to cooperating with this order, what will become of them and their kids? Will there be a repeat of one of the darkest moments in history, which occurred in Nazi Germany when, during the final months of the war, a desperation set in, to the point of mobilizing boys, age 12 and older, sending them to the front lines to defend the homeland against the Soviet Red Army? 

For those who may not know, they were called the Hitler Youth, and what started off as a voluntary act of participation, ended in a law enforced by the state, forcing them to fight. “Children who refused to join faced intense bullying from teachers and classmates, critical school essays assigned to isolate them, and the denial of diplomas or university admission.”

That unthinkable atrocity happened in what was supposed to be a civilized society.  So, imagine to what lengths these amoral Iranian leaders will go, to recruit their young, turning them into the unprepared warriors, whose lives will be cut off, all for the sake of winning a battle that has been doomed from the start.

It’s no different than sending their next generation of children into the burning fire of Molech, a Canaanite idol, which was part of an ancient ritual of child sacrifice practiced by pagan cultures, but forbidden in the scriptures (Leviticus 18:21) as it was considered an abomination.

But when it comes to despicable practices, there are few who rival the Islamic regime, run by heartless demons whose consciences are non-existent.

In 2022, military-grade assault rifles were shot directly into crowds of demonstrators, causing mass casualties. That was not to be an isolated incident. In the years to follow, that same method was used, resulting in the murder of tens of thousands.  Some estimates put the death toll at 60,000 Iranian citizens who were shot dead on the streets of Tehran.

Torture and imprisonment are also among their methods to silence all opposition.  “UN investigations and independent fact-finding missions have documented widespread sexual and gender-based violence, including rape, committed by state agents, IRGC and Basij members—against detained protesters of all ages to punish and silence dissent.”

Of course, everyone has heard the tragic story of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who was arrested by Iran’s morality police for the crime of showing a bit of hair which was not being completely covered by her hijab. As a result, she was severely beaten inside a van, subsequently dying of her wounds.

Added to those crimes are the public hangings of teenagers who were accused of causing civil unrest. Among them was 19-year-old Saleh Mohammadi, a member of Iran’s national wrestling team, executed this past March, after being accused, along with two other young people, of killing two policemen.  

Denied the process of defense, the teen was forced to make implicate himself as being guilty and pressured to provide a forced confession. With his whole life still ahead of him, he was hanged along with others.

So, whether it’s being sentenced to death by self-incrimination or being sent to the front, at the tender age of 12, Iran’s youth are literally being led to the slaughter by a demonic regime that does not value its young but rather sees them as expendable cannon fodder.

Almost laughably, Iran’s Janfada campaign spokesperson, Sasan Zare has said that “a large number of Iranians living abroad have signed up for the campaign.” But if they live abroad, doesn’t that already say something? They are the lucky ones who managed to escape such a horrific regime, whose highest aspiration is the death of their upcoming generation. 

Who, in their right mind, would return to the pit of hell to voluntarily forfeit their life or the life of the children they’ve managed to provide with a better life?

There is no camouflaging what this is. It’s a Satanically-driven death cult which must end by those who recognize it as the world’s greatest scourge!
