The UN is in for a big surprise

The international organization, known as the United Nations, established to promote good will among nations, has made a mockery of everything for which it claims to stand.

Incapable of recognizing the difference between the bloodthirsty, barbaric murderers, torturers, baby killers and rapists of the Hamas terror group, they have blacklisted them for crimes of sexual violence, along with Israel, a law-abiding country whose citizens respect and cherish life, making the two equal.

Basing their evidence on a defamatory report in the New York Times, written by Nicholas Kristof, the well-known Israel detractor, the publication of his article was cleverly coordinated to coincide with Israel’s own Civil Commission report, outlining Hamas’ horrific acts of violence on October 7, and throughout the more than two years hostages had been held captive.

Imagine making the comparison between a two-year independent investigation, corroborated by eye-witness accounts and credible physical proof, to the word of 14 Palestinian activist prisoners who told Kristof they were sexually assaulted and tortured by Israeli prison officers. Which report would you believe?

As a consequence of these unreliable testimonies, Secretary-General of the U.N., Antonio Guterres, the same man who said that the massacre did not happen in a vacuum, and also attempted to downplay the contribution of UNRWA employees on that fated day, has made the decision to lump Israel together with “the most depraved terrorist organization in the world.”

Calling it, a moral disgrace, Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon said that this constitutes a “complete collapse of any credibility left to the U.N.

But none of this should come as any surprise, since it was foretold more than 2500 years ago by the biblical prophet Isaiah who predicted the humiliation of Israel.  More interesting is the period to follow, when the nations would see Israel’s vindication (Isa. 62:1).

That day is not so far off, and won’t it come as a huge surprise for the likes of world leaders who thought they could get away with humiliating the Jewish state at every turn? Because here’s what’s coming! “All who raged against Israel will be put to shame, disgraced and reduced to nothing.” (Isa. 41:11-12)

While nations and leaders have done their best to humiliate Israel, even to the point of threatening the arrest of her soldiers and prime minister, should they dare to land on the soil of 124 countries that have accused the Jewish state of committing war crimes, God will enter into judgment with those same nations and leaders.

This cataclysmic event is known as “The Day of the Lord,” spoken of in Joel 3 and Zechariah 12 when God gathers all nations who came against Israel. The prophet Zechariah literally speaks of these people’s flesh rotting, no longer able to stand on their feet, as the result of a punishing plague that will be sent upon them. (Zech. 14:12)

For those who are tempted to look upon these scriptures as a symbolic non-literal piece of fiction, too fantastical to ever come to pass, except for the plot of an Indiana Jones movie, they’d better not put too much hope in this being the first Biblical error ever recorded.

The divine judgment that is coming, as an act of vindication to set the record straight on Israel, will not overlook nations, political figures or human rights organizations which had it in for God’s chosen people. It will be a day of reckoning as none other.

And this is what Guterres fails to understand. His fated decision will be recorded and remembered by the Almighty, numbering him with the others who smeared, libeled and defamed the land beloved by God.

These are not considered trivial events which bear no consequences. A time of payback is coming, regardless of what those who are guilty think.

The so-called monitors of truth and righteousness, whose political agenda leads them to condemn and place demonic terrorists in the same category with conscience-driven people, is tantamount to the mother of all miscarriages of justice.

Nothing compares to the deliberate blindness that is being employed when it comes to ignoring the diabolic and detestable acts of Hamas, while endeavoring to level the playing field by accusing a respected, democratic nation of heinous atrocities for daring to defend themselves from annihilation.

Guterres has a lot of company in the unconscionable goal of painting Israel as the ultimate villain while trying to sanitize and whitewash butchers who live to slaughter innocents.

Along with him are the likes of Amnesty International, Oxfam, Save the Children, The International Criminal Court at the Hague, The European Union, the African Union, Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), Human Rights Watch, the International Association of Genocide Scholars, Genocide Watch, the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, the five nations who refused to take part in Eurovision (Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Iceland).

Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, because many world leaders, political figures and so many others have scorned Israel, blaming her for crimes and infractions she never committed.

It’s obvious that such attacks are politically and socially motivated, because when a nation, who has a track record of coming to the aid of other nations in dire trouble, is lumped together with savage terrorists, known for mutilating and torturing, then you realize just how bereft of a moral compass these people are.

The world, whether it wants to admit it or not, has been abundantly blessed by Jewish and Israeli contributions. Think of how just these inventions have enhanced the daily lives of so many.

Mobileye driver assistance system, USB flash drives, Iron Dome missile defense system, Waze navigational system, PillCam capsule, Solar Power water heaters, cherry tomatoes, ReWalk, robotic assistance for the disabled, drip irrigation, OrCam, wearable device with AI.

Where is the list of innovative technology gifted to the world by Hamas terrorists who are counted as Israel’s equal by Antonio Gutterez?

And therein lies the difference. They have contributed nothing but have taken the lives of countless innocents, through their violence and inhumanity. One group is dedicated to saving lives and the betterment of mankind, while the other is committed to ending life and being the masters of everyone else who they would force into subservience.

The UN, and all the others, pretending to ignore the differences will be in for a big surprise on that day of their reckoning that’s coming -  finally setting the record straight!
