Gas prices cannot be a priority in a war against tyranny

We waited and waited and waited. Day after day, week after week, but nothing happened. All we heard were Trump’s constant promises, not to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Assured by Gen. Jack Keane, on each of his Fox News appearances, we were told that the president would not make a bad deal. So why are we supposed to think that this time it will be different?

Back in another 60-day delay, the dangling carrot was the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the easiest of all the concessions that would stave off a massive Iranian attack, crippling their infrastructure, setting them back decades.

And while American gas prices are of utmost consideration, to an administration taking incoming fire from its opponents who are using it as a justification to abandon Republicans, the real issue of Iran is being minimized.

When it comes to Iran, the priorities should be as follows:

  • Iran’s existential threat to the Jewish homeland must top the list. If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, their singular goal will be to finish off Israel once and for all. All uranium-enrichment must be seized!

  • Second priority should be how a nuclear Iran will have the ultimate weapon to leverage their aspiration of world domination, forcing all mankind into Islamic religious and political subservience. Such coercion and control will make every other historical power grab look like child’s play, by comparison.

  • Third priority should be the profound 47-year suffering, suffocation and torture of the Islamic people, who have languished under an extreme and repressive regime which allowed no freedoms and ended life for those who fought for liberty. Those people deserve to be freed, able to finally enjoy life as it was meant to be lived – without the heavy hand of oppression and bondage! That means that the IRGC must be decimated along with every ayatollah, mullah and those whose objective is to perpetuate an extremist Islamic governance.

  • Fourth priority must be the world’s economic factor, whereby Iran is not able to prevent the passage of goods and commodities from free movement. To do so, is to expand their tyrannical domination worldwide, allowing them global authority that grants them deference. The Strait of Hormuz is not their personal property and never can be!

  • Fifth priority would be to gradually end all dependence upon Iran, knowing that they offer no good will to anyone. Developing other resources that would bypass theirs will be the only path towards low gas prices and a booming world economy which has no attachment to Iran.

Unfortunately, none of this has been properly communicated to Americans or any other nation, for that matter. As we listen to the news, all we hear are the worries and concerns over an upcoming midterm election which will be determined by the price of gas.

How do you communicate the frivolity of such a misguided calculation? While the lack of money is surely an important consideration and one that keeps people up at night, it pales in comparison to the loss of personal freedoms and liberties, which is the real fight in this battle between an evil despotic regime and the worldwide democracies it has taken on.

The sad truth is that until they are neutered and left degraded, they have the upper hand, and no amount of slick public relations campaigns or cleverly messaged talking points will cover that up. Iran has figured out a way to play the West. Keep offering them tasty morsels of hope and they’ll take the bait, just as a hooked fish who is no match for a seasoned fisherman.

This is the strength of the Persian empire at its finest. The ultimate merchants who are champions at getting you to buy, even at the highest price! It’s the incomparable talent, mastered by them, making it next to impossible to achieve the role of victor.

But victors, we must be, because our beloved way of life depends upon it. Once Iran is equipped with nuclear weapons, it’s game over – not just for Israel, but for a world that was foolish enough to focus on gas prices rather than the greatest endowment we were given by our Creator – the blessing of freedom and self-determination.

It is, instead, being trivialized as if its value is of little consequence. And that is what is understood by the Iranian regime. They figured out the West’s priorities long ago.

Iran counts on a free people who are unable to properly appreciate and hold with reverence, the things that are truly irreplaceable. They know that we have become too distanced from the days of ominous world wars which required obligatory military service.

The era of soldiers paying with their lives to preserve our freedoms is long gone, and so it’s hard to remember the cost of liberty, paid for by those who had a vision for the only way to live a worthwhile existence – through freedom!

Our enemies knew that if they waited enough time, other things would quickly replace the treasured independence which we’ve come to take for granted. So, theirs was the long game, where the passage of years would bring them one step closer to their cunning goal of entrapping us all.

And that is where we are at this moment! We are in the clutches of an evil, demonic regime which will stop at nothing to realize their ultimate dream – the establishment of a worldwide caliphate, where everyone is subject to their dystopian form Islamic sovereignty.

No one will be exempt, and, at that point, the price of gas will no longer be of any consequence, because the sobering reality of what we all lost will be the grand wake-up call to finally return us back to the folly we employed at a time when so much more was at stake.

In a battle to wipe out a tyrannical regime, no one can afford to lose sight of what is crucial. Each person must be willing to make a small sacrifice in order to hold tight to their greatest asset – the one that allows them to make their own personal decisions of what they will do every day, how they will dress, whom they will marry, how they will raise their children, whom they worship and the way they feel when they turn in for the night!

All of those should be non-negotiable, along with the price of gas, which is only a trivial quick fix!
