Israel killed IRGC commander Saeed Izadi today. Saeed was the Iranian patron of October 7, the middleman between the Iranian military and Hamas. Suitably, in this photo he's seen between the head of Hamas and the commander of the Iranian military. Israel killed them too. pic.twitter.com/tA9Hx1LEBq

The military showed documents which indicate that even in recent months, the leadership of Hamas’ military wing maintained its ties with Izadi. In his role as head of the Palestine Corps in the Quds Force, Izadi transferred weapons to Hamas in support of their terror activities against the State of Israel.
The documents revealed by the IDF showed two projects in which Izadi attempted to transfer weapons to Hamas in the past few years, even after the start of the Oct. 7 war. The projects were attempts to smuggle millions of dollars of weapons to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the first called ‘Tufan 1’ saw Izadi attempt to transfer $21 million worth of weapons to Hamas, while ‘Tufan 2’ was valued at around $25 million.
In its statement, the military said, “Due to the intensive efforts of the Southern Command, the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA, these two projects to arm Hamas’s military wing in the Gaza Strip with advanced weapons worth tens of millions of dollars did not come to fruition.”
The documents also showed that Izadi faced challenges in trying to work with Hamas due to power struggles between those in the terror group who wanted to continue the relations between Hamas and Iran and those who wanted to move away from Iran.
According to the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC), Izadi was working on plans for terror attacks within Israel following the Israeli strikes on Iran in 2024.
The anti-regime organization United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) released a statement following Izadi’s elimination.
““Saeid Izadi was one of the worst terror mass murderers in history,” the statement read. “He was involved in the financing and planning of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, terrorist attack in Israel, which was the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. He played a critical role in building the Islamic Republic’s ‘ring of fire’ strategy to eradicate Israel.”
Following the assassination of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in a 2020 U.S. drone attack, Izadi was charged with overseeing the coordination and cooperation between the Palestinian terror groups like Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other Iranian proxies, such as Hezbollah, as well as the Assad regime in Syria.
“UANI has exposed the identities of additional key operatives within the IRGC-QF’s Palestinian Affairs Branch who played direct roles in planning the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks They, too, should face the same fate as Izadi,” UANI stated.
The IDF revealed that Izadi was working on a planned multi-front attack against Israel involving ballistic missile and drone attacks from Iran and its proxies in Iraq, followed by an ground invasion of terrorists from its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria.
