Will Vance throw Israel under the bus to achieve peace?

If you listen to Chief Political Analyst for CBN News, David Brody, who recently interviewed Vice President J.D. Vance, just a few days ago, you might come to the same conclusion as Brody who sees him as Trump’s “perfect messenger” to negotiate a peace deal between Iran and the U.S.

That is because, as Brody puts it, “Vance has built much of his national identity around skepticism toward foreign interventions” and the perfect individual to convince his fellow Americans that such an agreement would be to their best interest, rather than get entangled in a forever war.

Given the vice-president’s preferred position of the America First agenda which, for many means only direct involvement with issues that impact the country’s citizens and daily life struggles, who better than him to search for some way to forge peace at almost any price?

Predictably, the enemy’s transparent desire to hold out for a deal where America throws Israel under the bus seems pretty obvious. Consequently, the Jewish state will be strongly pressured to end their fight against Hezbollah terrorists, who have been enjoined to Iran, as one in the same.

If America succeeds in getting them to agree, Israel will essentially become a toothless and castrated partner in what will surely be billed as “the great hope for a new Middle East.”  In short, Israel turns into a vassal state, only with the illusion of independence while surrendering all of its sovereignty and decisions to the world’s super power.

That will be the price exacted for “peace in our time.” But such a costly sacrifice, would obligate America to completely guarantee Israel’s protection and defense, since they are insisting we give up our right to fight if attacked. Can America assure that will happen? Certainly not!

Such a demand would be no different than a mandatory weapons’ buy-back program. Only instead of guns, it would mean a total stand-down of our military capabilities, the greatest asset, next to the Almighty, that Israel possesses!

But what’s that to Vance, who was commissioned by his boss, Donald J. Trump, now bogged down in a war which he likely believed would be wrapped up in very short order?

Not being from around these parts, Trump didn’t figure that a country like Iran, wouldn’t capitulate to his blustering threats, backed up by a formidable war machine with the latest in cutting edge weaponry.

Unlike Lebanese-American conservative activist, author, lecturer and critic of Islam, Brigitte Gabriel, who is all-too familiar with the mindset of these people, Vance might be unaware that Iran is an expert at playing the long game. Using Mohammed, as their template of how he achieved victory, in the year 628 C.E., they’ve got the winning formula.

Traveling to Mecca with 1400 of his followers, his strategy was to sign a 10-year peace treaty with the local people, known as the Treaty of al-Hudabyia. During that time, he rebuilt and rejuvenated his army, attacking Meccans just two years later, once they’d been lulled into a false sense of security. Mecca fell in a day, making it the official strategy, used in the Islamic world for centuries.

Referring to this same tactic, P.L.O head, Yasser Arafat signed the Oslo Peace Accords, knowing full well that he was planning, at some point, to employ Mohammed’s al-Hudabyia strategy. According to Gabriel, everyone in the Arab world knew what Arafat was doing.

Eventually, the Second Intifada was the result of that waiting period which gave them time to establish, arm and train the Palestinian Authority to go to war, violating what turned out to be a fake peace deal.

Nothing has changed – not since the time of Mohammed or the time of Arafat.  The Iranian Islamic regime is merely seeking enough time to regroup and recover from all their losses, while making sure that America helps them to defang their greatest threat – Israel, who, if given the opportunity to finish the job, will put an end to Hezbollah.

Both Vance, and his boss, President Trump, would do well to heed the words of someone who understands the culture and the mentality of Muslims, knowing what lengths of deceit they are willing to go in order to appear to be “reasonable leaders,” a term Trump recently used to describe them.

Regrettably, Westerners, who tend to take people at face value, are simply not able to compute the deceptive Islamic strategy that relies upon false promises, fake timetables and outright lies, all designed to catch their enemy off guard.

But when you’re facing an upcoming midterm election, along with the constant complaints of high gas prices, you might be inclined to throw even your closest allies under the bus if it means a sure win for the present administration.

The broken promise, to partner together with Israel to defeat the greatest evil of our time, will be the political fallout. The main objective, of stopping Iran from finally obtaining nuclear weapons, will be watered down to another ineffective agreement, facilitating their ability to become the formidable foe of every nation, threatening to obliterate anyone who dares to defy their commands.

It is not only Brigitte Gabriel who is warning the American administration not to enter into such a trap, but many other prominent figures from the Middle East as well who know, in advance, that there will never be lasting peace with the likes of Iran.

American political figures, also opposed to this disaster of a deal, include former U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. Senators Bill Cassidy, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, Roger Wicker, John Cornyn and Tim Kaine.

Joining this list are leaders of many Gulf Arab states, including the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. It goes without saying that Israel’s prime minister and many of his cabinet members are also strongly opposed.

In addition, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has stated that “Iran cannot negotiate on Lebanon’s behalf regarding border security or ceasefires,” knowing that they do not represent the best interests of his country.

Could it be that all of these individuals believe the many warnings, from those who know what will happen? Even the Iranian people know that a deal with this regime will only yield disaster!

In the end, an anxious VP Vance might end up throwing many nations under the bus, along with the Iranian people, all for the false hope of a peace that will never happen. And history is the proof of that!
