The boy who cried 'forever wars'

What happens when a candidate, running for office, has no new ideas, innovative solutions or successful strategies that will attract voters and win their confidence? Simple, you scare them into thinking that their opponent is a threat to the future of the country.

That has been the modus operandi of Michigan Senatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed who, not only has no helpful policies to offer but refuses to condemn Hamas while he pals around with a guy who says America deserved 9/11.

Instead, he pivots to the constant repetition of “forever wars,” his go-to phrase, as he tries to make the comparison of ongoing conflicts, such a 20- year war in Afghanistan, from 2001 to 2021, which, in the end, accomplished nothing.

Ending in a disastrous exit, where 13 military members were killed during a suicide bombing at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan’s Hamid Karzai International Airport, that protracted war cost over $2.2 trillion and the lives of nearly 2,400 U.S. service members.

El-Sayed knows all-too-well that Americans are leery of being embroiled in such a failure again. But that’s all he’s got, and that’s why he uses it to the hilt, making sure that any war is classified as wasteful, prohibitively expensive and not in the interest of people who live thousands of miles away.

There’s only one small problem. Technology has made the threat of war a possibility to every geographical location on the face of the earth. Whether through the distance a rocket can travel, or the proxies an enemy regime can employ. No nation is an impenetrable island.

Radical Islamists, whose goal is to forcibly overtake Judeo-Christian America, have already invaded. They are everywhere, running for political office, and one of them hopes to win by using the country’s wars against them.

But just as in the tale of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” there is a reverse effect. As the story goes, the boy repeatedly warned of calamity having struck. But each time help arrived, it was discovered to be a false alarm, until tragedy came, with no one to assist.

In the case of American wars, wouldn’t it be ironic if the one time that a war truly needed to be fought, the voice crying “forever wars” would convince everyone that this was just another fake in a long line of wasted exercises!

Yet, that is clearly what is being propagated.  A generation of home-born radical Muslims, whose agenda is to destroy the West, have meticulously studied American failures and vulnerabilities, all with the goal of using those chinks in the armor against it.

By employing convincing phraseology and feigned empathy, El-Sayed exploits the America First policy, wherein wars are seen to be counterproductive measures, requiring money that could otherwise be spent on improving American interests, such as improving roads, bridges, social safety nets and wherever else tax money can be spent by politicians.

But what good does any of that do if there is no real security, leaving the country unprepared for an imminent attack? Will a rogue military, acting as the nation’s democratically-elected government, suddenly become reasonable at a time it’s hanging a new generation of citizens for the crime of speaking out?

Why are Americans so easily duped by smooth-talking Muslims who seek to strip them of all their freedoms? When it becomes so clear that a candidate is unable to call out which country poses the greatest threat to America – Iran or Israel, that is the time to realize that there are no shared values between him and the people whose votes he solicits.

Unable to support the terrorist designation of groups, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, he can only deflect by changing the subject. And that is why no proud American can pull the lever for a man who would not roundly condemn such depraved positions.

The only possible reason that anyone would have to vote for Abdul El-Sayed, would be to render assistance in the breakdown of the American system and way of life.  Only those who long to see a swift end to liberty, freedom of speech, the ability to practice one’s religion, openly displaying its symbols and observing the culture of the nation, would be in favor of throwing their support towards this fraud of a candidate.

Only they would be convinced that a war should not be fought to prevent a nuclear Iran from existing.

Such individuals are either complicit in the direction El-Sayed wants to take the country or they are ignorant and ill-informed as to a dangerous class of people who have chosen to take advantage of them.

Either way, the goal is the end of America as we know it. They have appeared at the most opportune time, ready to promise Utopia but will, instead, deliver a dystopian society, dictating how one can live, in what they can believe and to whom they must bow.

But remember, they will have achieved those objectives by having deceived the people who thought that their needs and their interests would be best served by not fighting an evil empire which hated the Big Satan.

If ever there was a time to be vigilant and realize the necessity of preserving a way of life that promotes self-determination, independence and autonomy, it is now, as Iran makes no secret of their desire to strike at the heart of American cities.

With the likes of El-Sayed, Mamdani and the many other local Muslims, whose way of life is a radical departure from American democracy, they are poised to take over cities and the inner workings of the government, such as the Congress and Senate, in order to battle the American dream, even without the use of bullets, rockets or other weapons of war.

Their goal will have been attained once enough of them gain power, able to extinguish the light of freedom, replacing it with the darkness of control through coercion.  Anyone who doesn’t see this coming is living in their own protective bubble, too busy to see what’s happening right in front of them.

So here is a warning! Don’t allow foreigners or U.S. Islamic sympathizers to hijack the most precious commodity that America has to offer, by falling for the shrieks of the boy who cried “forever wars,” because, in the end, it will be the greatest regret that will haunt each citizen who allowed it to happen on their watch.
