opinion Israel gets the blame for Trump’s bad decisions

We’ve been here before! In fact, it’s the story of the Jewish people. Something goes wrong, and we get blamed for it! That’s because it’s so much easier to pin mistakes on someone else, rather than look in the mirror and admit the fault was yours.

But in the game of wanting to score quick points and walk away looking like a hero, Trump lost, and here’s probably how it went down. Knowing that Iran was about to realize their nuclear ambitions, someone convinced the American president that taking down the regime was all in a day’s work.

After all, the IRGC was no match for the U.S. war machine, whose wrath, when unleashed, could take down an empire. So, the operation would be wrapped up within days, per their estimation. In and out – no worries!

But in and out failed to work. When Iran put up a good fight, determined not to lose the game, that was when someone noticed that the stockpile of weapons was rapidly being depleted, causing the administration to have to rethink their strategy.

That translated into a very long ceasefire, made to look like a pause, in order to give diplomacy a chance. But when that didn’t work, the price of gas only got higher by the day, angering Americans who began to feel as if they were left paying the tab on a war they never wanted.

Where does Israel fit into this scenario?

While it’s tempting to look at the Jewish State and say that they had the most to lose, if Iran would have succeeded in developing nuclear weapons, the decision to go to war was ultimately made by the Trump administration, with Israel willing to help in whatever way they could.

But how do you convince the American people that defeating Iran was, and still is, a necessary goal, especially when they don’t believe the threat of radical Islam is coming for them?

How do you get them to understand the words of Canadian professor and thought guru, Gad Saad, who warned that Islamists said, “We are going to conquer the West through three means – through the wombs of our women (demography is destiny), the use of “Hijrah” (migration) to conquer you, and by using your miserable freedoms against you.”

They’ve made good on those promises, and now Palestinian flags can be seen throughout the U.S., whether at pro-Palestinian demonstrations, on school campuses or even in largely-Muslim populated cities, such as Patterson, N.J.

The jihad has made its way to the American shores, while many of its citizens only have eyes for the numbers on the gas pumps!

Yet, for an administration that was unable to adequately warn the public what was happening, right before their eyes, it’s so much easier to point the finger at the “troublemaker” of the Middle East, and say, “the Jews who made us do it.”

That was the assessment of Vice-President JD Vance, who squared all the corners by saying that “America’s relationship with Israel and the war with Iran are to blame for the major losses suffered by Republicans in the US midterm elections.”

Apparently, it’s not for nothing that Jews are accused of having tremendous power, because how else could Americans have turned to the Democratic Party, in droves, as they did on Tuesday?

Think of the amount of control Israelis would have to have in order to make such a huge difference in just two years, turning the country from red to blue. Never mind that the whole notion is preposterous and completely impossible. What does that say about Americans?

To believe such a theory, is to contend that they are unable to think and see for themselves, or that they are under a Svengali-type of influence that takes over their decision-making at the ballot box, turning them against the invincible Trump.

Of course, no one will ever attribute the election results to bad decision making, based on faulty advice, taken by those who gravely underestimated the defiance of a formidable enemy who could not be taken down like a house built with cards.

So do the next best thing – blame the Jews. After all, it’s always been a winning strategy that prevents bearing the responsibility for a miscalculation that ended up badly.

But what works well for Trump and Vance, doesn’t go too well for Jews, at least not in the city of “brotherly love” where a rally is being planned on the anniversary of the eve of Kristallnacht, “targeting Schlesinger’s Delicatessen and other Jewish-owned businesses” or, as they like to call them, “Zio businesses.”

Why now? Could it have something to do with the close proximity to a failed election, being laid to rest at the feet of the Jewish people?

And how is it that a smart person, like JD Vance, a Yale Law School graduate, doesn’t realize that his words have consequences? What, to him, might be categorized as legitimate analysis of what went wrong, ends up being a night of broken glass for Jewish shop owners in the city which houses the Liberty Bell, representing freedom, independence and justice.

What happened to those ideals which birthed the song, The brotherhood of man? “A noble tie that binds, All human hearts and minds, Into one brotherhood of man.”

Saad’s warning of an Islamic takeover is sobering, but what will follow is even more so. Because with it, they are ushering in a repeat of exactly what happened after German-Jewish businesses were smashed on that fateful evening, marking the beginning of one of the darkest periods in history.

For a sitting vice-president to contribute to those ugly and unforgivable sentiments, by casting blame on the country which has stood with America, through thick and thin, delivering vital intelligence and sharing their greatest defensive weaponry, not to mention so many other technologies and advances, is nothing more than a shameful betrayal.

Not only does it portray Israel in a terrible light, but it also places American Jewish citizens in peril, who are always included in the guilt, through their ethnic association.

But when your close friend is Tucker Carlson, maybe there is a connection. Either way, it’s time to man up, look in the mirror and take responsibility for the bad decisions which contributed to your humiliating defeat and stop blaming the Jews!
