Iran - Makes perfect sense?
The immense Islamic Republic of Iran lies some 1,112 miles (1,789 km) from the minuscule Jewish nation of Israel, their borders having no proximity whatsoever. Israel poses no threat at all to Iran in any way or form. In fact, Israel and Iran had fine relations until the Islamic Revolution in 1979 when Ayatollah Khomeini and his thugs took over the nation by force.
And yet the Mullahs and Muftis and Ayatollahs of that vast and oil-rich nation grind their teeth at the very presence of a Jewish state in the Middle East, seeing their central mission in life to annihilate it from existence. Each year they have a national celebration in which they chant "Death to Israel" (along with "Death to America"). It is their highest priority to create a nuclear weapon to do just that. Death seems to be their reason for being, fomenting wars and terror around the planet.
Iran, formerly known as Persia, is not a newcomer in the region. Daniel the biblical prophet saw the threat of Persia against the Jews long ago. In vision he saw the Prince of Persia coming to annihilate the people of Israel, and the archangel Michael standing against that evil prince in defence of Israel (Daniel chapter 10 and 12). “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered." There is more than meets the eye in this conflict.
Today, even as I write, the good people of Iran have arisen en masse in all the cities of Iran to overthrow the long oppression of that evil Islamic empire, many giving their lives in doing so, shot down and imprisoned by the dark forces of the regime, risking a greater involvement of nations in the conflict. May they succeed in their brave efforts.
As I said above, there is more than meets the eye in this conflict, a true battle of good against evil, freedom against enslavement to a very dark force. It seems that the successful return of the Jews to their ancient Promised Land once conquered by Islam represents a mortal threat to the very veracity and foundation of Islam itself.
Otherwise the perpetual hatred from the Mullahs makes no sense at all. The fact that Islam hates dogs as well, man's very best friend, tells me about all I need to know to understand Islam.
