If Israel is an apartheid state, it’s doing a very poor job

Israel is very bad!!

“What is that?” I hear you cry.

It is true — Israel is very bad… very bad at apartheid.

I recently read on All Israel News about the first Arab Muslim woman to reach the rank of lieutenant colonel being named the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson.

She is an Arab. She is a woman. She is a Muslim.

But I thought Israel was an apartheid state!

This appointment truly mocks the idea that Israel is an apartheid state.

Israel has also been described as committing genocide, yet it drops leaflets warning the enemy to flee areas that are about to be bombed. Now it is “bad” at employing a Jewish IDF spokesperson as well.

When will they ever get it right?

The notion that Israel is an apartheid state is absolute nonsense, and we will see that again in just over a week when Ramadan starts.

Every Friday during Ramadan, a huge operation takes place to bring Palestinian Muslims from cities like Bethlehem into Jerusalem. I have seen it firsthand — thousands upon thousands of Muslims come to Jerusalem to pray on the Temple Mount during Ramadan.

Extra structures are put in place at the checkpoints. Buses line up one after another to take the pilgrims into Jerusalem. Once one bus is full, it departs, and the next bus quickly fills, ensuring worshipers arrive safely at their destination.

It runs very well indeed.

Google tells me that in 2025, between 80,000 and 90,000 Muslims attend weekly Friday prayers, with 180,000 to 200,000 attending the special evening prayers.

Muslims from all over, including from the Palestinian Authority, come to Jerusalem to pray.

Muslims pray on the Temple Mount, Jews pray at the Western Wall, and Christians pray in their churches.

That is Israel.

Israel is a blend of multiculturalism. We have Russians, Ethiopians, Americans, British, Arabs, and Jews. Everyone is here, and there is freedom of worship.

On Thursdays, I have to come into Jerusalem very early. I am at the checkpoint by 6:30 a.m., standing alongside Palestinians who are also going into Jerusalem to work. These are Palestinians coming from the Palestinian Authority into Israel for employment.

They know they receive much better pay if they work in Israel.

So the idea that Israel is an apartheid state is complete nonsense.

Psalm 133:1 says:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

In Israel, the Muslim goes to the mosque, the Jew goes to the synagogue, and the Christian goes to the church. There is freedom of religion.

Let us pray for unity together. We do not have to agree, but we can have unity — and reject the lie that Israel is an apartheid state.
