A 17-year-old girl was seriously injured Sunday evening in a ramming attack at the Gush Etzion Junction. Two others sustained light injuries.

After making a U-turn at an intersection and deliberately driving into a hitchhiking stop, the attacker, a 30-year-old Hebron resident, was shot and killed by a soldier from the Kfir Brigade’s Nahshon Battalion. IDF forces subsequently began operating in Hebron.

MDA medics on site said: “When we arrived at the scene of the attack, we saw a large commotion and a vehicle near a bus stop. A 17-year-old girl was lying nearby, fully conscious but suffering severe lower-limb injuries. We provided initial treatment, including stopping the bleeding, and evacuated her to hospital in serious condition. Another team treated a 15-year-old girl who was lightly injured with facial trauma.”
