“What we need to do going forward is to reclaim the narrative of our history, of our Judeo-Christian values, of Western democracy.”

This message was the overarching tone at the first Judeo-Christian Zionist Congress (JCZC), held in Nashville, Tennessee, this week, as articulated by American actress Patricia Heaton, one of several prominent figures lending her voice and popularity to the new initiative.

The Hollywood star's participation underscored the conference’s broader mission, aiming to unite Zionists of all backgrounds, including Jews, Christians of various denominations, atheists and agnostics, under a joint call to action – to defend not just Israel, but Western civilization writ large.

From Israel’s perspective, the war on Judeo-Christian values is an eighth front, as the IDF has been battling on seven physical fronts for over two years.

But this war, participants argued, is being waged over the hearts and minds of people in the West, with battlefields in the media, education, politics and culture. Particular attention was given to recent criticism of Israel emerging from within the American right-wing, including commentators Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens.

“Generations of young people were and continue to be taught; a warped and distorted view of how this country [the U.S.] came to be,” Heaton said in her keynote address. “More recently, have been subjected to a similarly distorted view of the history of the Jewish people, both ancient and modern, all being funded by hostile outside forces.”

“All of us have spent the last two years showing our support to our Jewish friends and neighbors, advocating for the release of the hostages and for the surrender of Hamas. Now we must invest our energies into taking back the story of our histories."

The Jewish state is at the forefront of a war that includes the other members of the broader Western civilization, explained Israeli author Asif Elkayam. “Israel is no longer fighting the battle of narrative alone. It’s building a global coalition to defend the values of the West.”

“The Jews are not your problem. They are your solution,” he emphasized.

The congress was organized by a broad alliance of Christian and non-Christian organizations, spearheaded by several Israelis.

“I'm extremely satisfied with what we've accomplished,” chairman and Israeli attorney Calev Myers told ALL ISRAEL NEWS. He co-hosted the event together with his brother Simeon Myers, the CEO of JCZC.

“I think this is nothing less than a historic event. We have a steering committee with 11 people that represent 280 million members worldwide, representatives from the Southern Baptist Convention, from the Assemblies of God denomination, from the United Pentecostal Church International, as well as many other platforms.”

Bolstering the Congress’s messaging with their extensive experience on the frontlines are several former high-ranking Israeli security officials, led by Sagiv Asulin and Marco Moreno, who have founded a new movement called “The 8th Front.”

In a joint op-ed in Ynet News published in December, Asulin and Moreno described an “influence system, financed with billions of dollars, carefully orchestrated and operating across every pillar of Western consciousness,” which, they said, “mobilizes mass protests, fuels hatred of Israel, ignites waves of antisemitism on university campuses and shapes public opinion across liberal Western democracies.”

While this machine is used to attack the State of Israel directly, it also “helped propel one of its representatives, Zohran Mamdani, into the mayor’s office of New York City. And it is the same machine that stood behind the brutal terror attack at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney.”

“The Israel Defense Forces know how to win a declared war. The Mossad knows how to dismantle systems when given defined objectives. The Shin Bet neutralizes threats that are officially recognized. But Israel has never defined the eighth front,” they warned.

The first Judeo-Zionist Congress aimed to define this front and the common danger to Israel and the West more broadly, to correctly identify the current situation, which many attendees described as a “losing battle” at the moment, and to find potential strategies to turn the tide.

"Against the backdrop of eroding values, intergenerational division, and a culture war on the West, there is a need to establish a global Zionist alliance to protect the foundations of Western civilization’s bedrock principles of collective freedom and security and personal liberty," Asulin declared in another article he penned together with Dr. Dan Diker, president of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs.

The conference attendees' wide range of backgrounds highlighted the potential to forge an exceptionally broad alliance for this fight.

Among the participants were Christian pastors Greg Denham, Luke Moon and Dumisani Washington, Israelis including Rabbi Yehuda Glick; rising online influencers like Talia Yosef; young Jewish American leaders like Shabbos Kestenbaum, Aaron Prager, and singer Ghazal Mizrahi; former Muslims like Brother Rachid and Harun Ibrahim; Hollywood actors and producers; author Eric Metaxas; thought leaders like Dr. James Lindsay and Danny Burmawi, and leading politicians, including former U.S. Education Secretary Hon. Betsy Devos, and Sen. Bill Hagerty, to name just a few.

"Some 600 to 700 million Evangelical Christians across the globe support the state and people of Israel. They are joined by other groups who identify with Zionist values. This is a powerful global force few truly understand. They are not merely “pro-Israel” in opinion; they are active partners in the understanding that strengthening Israel means empowering the West," Diker and Asulin explained.

“We gathered together the largest platforms of influence in the non-Jewish, Zionist world, to have a real conversation, to say, our way of life, Western civilization, the Judeo-Christian foundation of Western civilization, is under a state-funded, highly motivated, well-managed attack. What do we need to do to push back?” said Myers.

“And it's been a great strategy, great ideas and a lot of momentum moving forward, I know that this is just the beginning, and it's going to grow from here,” he said.

Myers said the congress is expected to become an annual event.

“We'll have three or four co-branded events with organizations within our movement, one of them being The Joshua Fund Epicenter conference in April of 2027… we really set aside our organizational egos and work together as a movement. We found a lot of willingness to do that from all the organizations represented here - we're excited about it.”
