Execution overseer: Meet Hamas' new interior minister, the 'Butcher of Gaza'

Tayseer al-Batsh, who was recently appointed as the official in charge of internal security for Hamas in Gaza, is the man who has orchestrated and directed the bloodbath in the Strip, during which the organization has carried out mass public executions of many Gazans, according to a report aired this Tuesday evening on Kan News.
Al-Batsh, appointed by the head of Hamas’ military wing, Izz al-Din al-Haddad, is now being called “the Butcher of Gaza.”
He holds a rank equivalent to a brigadier general.
In the past, he was a senior official in Hamas’ police force in Gaza and in the organization’s various security apparatuses.
