IDF ends Hebron operation, launched after killing of two soldiers in the city
The IDF announced the end of the operation in Hebron, which began 10 days ago, following a shooting attack in which two soldiers were killed.
During the operation, IDF troops demolished the homes of the two terrorists who carried out the attack, and located four weapons, several military vests and other military equipment during searches.
Soldiers found and sealed an underground storage near one of the houses.
According to reports in Hebrew media, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir had asked for permission to end the operation before the elections, but Defense Minister Israel Katz only approved the request Sunday night.
