opinion What America’s blue wave will mean for Israel
America’s top guy goes out on a month-long tour, stumping in every major city to ensure that the Senate and Congress remain in Republican hands.
Not only that, but many Democratic candidates are outed, during the campaign, forced to defend frightening online positions that came back to haunt them. One candidate disappeared from the campaign trail for nearly two weeks, while another was mocked for having fathered two kids with his cousin.
In the end, none of it mattered, because the Democrats made an almost clean sweep of even the most unlikely of all places.
Running on a platform of bringing down high prices and looking out for the common man, warnings are already being posted, on behalf of those who won, that prominent Republicans had better lawyer up, as the threat to imprison them is being hurled fast and furiously.
America has chosen a dark path – not just because of the progressive direction it’s taken, leaving behind its traditional values, surrounded by pride of country, faith and family, but because none of this bodes well for Israel.
Seemingly coming out of nowhere, Donald Trump’s telephone appearance, on yesterday’s Fox and Friends segment, brought the news that the U.S. would be ending its annual military assistance of a whopping $4 billion to the Jewish Ssate, by year’s end.
Given the obvious impediment to a red midterm sweep, by way of a very unpopular Iran war, to the point of suggesting that the Jews were at fault for high supermarket prices, why did this announcement only come on Election Day?
It seems as if the timing couldn’t have been worse for the Trump administration, who now stands to lose everything, effectively turning the president into a lame duck midway through his four-year term.
Wouldn’t it have made more sense for Trump to have broken this very important news two weeks ago? At that point, Americans might have considered that Trump was sending the message to Israel, that they would have to go it alone from now on.
A clean break from the country which many Americans already view as a great liability, might have helped him. Was some kind of backroom deal made, the details of which remain completely unknown to all of us? And how does that play into the terrible beating that Republicans got in this election cycle?
These are the mysteries that leave us wondering. How is it that the recent Democratic Socialist victories didn’t seem to frighten a large swath of Americans, all of whom heard radical positions, such as emptying out all prisons, packing the Supreme Court, defunding police and supporting boys in girls’ sports?
At the same time, a growing trend of being openly antisemitic didn’t seem to make a difference despite the necessity of many Democratic politicians, having to distance themselves from Israel, in order to survive, realizing that any defense of her would cost them dearly.
Take the example of what happened to defeated Democrat Haley Stevens, who, at the eleventh hour, threw her support to Republican Mike Rogers, after rejecting Abdul El-Sayed, the man who defeated her in the Michigan primaries.
Today, Stevens is persona non grata in the party she still claims to loyally support. Seen as a backstabbing betrayer, it’s likely that Stevens will never be welcomed back by her political peers or live to see another day in the profession she gave up, once she crossed the party.
With a new generation of leaders who have abandoned the dreams and aspirations of what made America great, in the first place, it’s not hard to deduce that America is coming down. Her great 250-year experiment of freedom, liberty, and all that went along with that, has come to an end.
At this point, the only thing that can be expected is vindictive lawfare, going after the Republicans who sought to bring back order, safety and sanity. That will be replaced with a loosening of punishment for criminals and a move towards removing all boundaries on gender.
And while this is truly lamentable, nothing comes close to how this will negatively impact Israel. Because law-abiding, family loving, Christian America will almost assuredly come to the conclusion that had it not been for Trump’s alliance with Israel, including his support to take down the Iranian threat, America would still be basking in a red-blanketed Congress and Senate.
How long will it take those same Conservatives and right-wing individuals to point an accusatory finger at the Jewish state, blaming her for undue influence over the president who got entangled in a war that caused a complete defeat of his party?
Never mind that they failed to understand the massive threat of radical Islam, which has already invaded their country, joining forces with the Progressive Woke Marxists. For them, food and gas prices were their sole issue as they turned a blind eye to a deadly ideology that will soon overtake their way of life.
Yes, America is going down – not only because those elected are committed to dismantling the country that, for them, represents racism, inequality and a dream they simply don’t share, but because they will turn against God’s people, both here and there!
The wave that follows the blue wave will, undoubtedly, be the one which returns Jews back to their homeland – possibly the only good news to come out of all of this.
But when you consider under what conditions it will happen, the prospect becomes frightening for any Israel supporters, whose love and commitment for Israel is biblically rooted and unchangeable, no matter what happens.
Nonetheless, Jews will almost assuredly be looked upon as the reason for America’s downfall, and when that happens, the U.S. will officially join the ranks of Europe and other continents, which have already come to the viewpoint that Jews, in their midst, are no longer worthwhile.
The fateful direction that America has taken will have far-reaching consequences, not just on them and on Israel, but will send a loud message across the world that all is lost.
Because the moment they chose candidates, who despise Israel and Jews, by ethnic association, to lead them into their future path, they also effectively turned their back on the blessing that God promised to those who position themselves with His people and their land.
And with that choice, comes its consequences!
