The battle cry heard in Canada to murder Jews

It wasn’t hard to figure out that recent video footage, taken from a pro-Palestinian demonstration in a Jewish area of Toronto, Canada, calling to “eradicate Zionists,” was really the battle cry to murder Jews.

Hiding behind the “Z” word, doesn’t camouflage anything, because it’s the same intent - the genocide of the ancient people, chosen by God to be a light to the nations, pointing the way back to Him. 

This latest call for violence, against Jews, is just another alarm bell, signaling a fast-spreading societal sickness, marked by the inability to tolerate the Jewish race.  

It’s as if time has reversed. Instead of going forward, we are being taken back to the darkest moments of history, where deep prejudices, barbarity and degradation, plunged mankind into utter depravity - where burning people and gratuitously spilling their blood in city squares was accepted behavior.

How is it possible for a re-emergence of such darkness to descend upon the earth, at a time when remarkable advances in technology, medicine and every other segment of life has flourished, making it the greatest time to be alive? That is the true irony! A dichotomy of evil and goodness, co-existing side by side.

What can you say, when social media, defined as one of those advances, assists in the dissemination of hatred, appealing to the basest instincts of humanity, beckoning their participation in a newfound campaign to rid the planet of the Jewish race?

Is it not a serious moment to reflect upon who we’ve become and how we have been easily infected by a terminal virus of madness that always ends in our destruction?

Why are community leaders, clergy, educators, presidents and prime ministers silently sitting by, watching this malady take hold of fellow citizens who are preparing a new breeding ground for a global pandemic that is gaining strength?

Do they think it’s already too late to stop the avalanche that is about to take everyone in its wake? Are they experiencing a sense of helplessness and impotence or is their own sense of fear and apprehension, causing them to abandon all emotion, bringing about an indifference and passivity?

Either way, no one can escape what is already here, and that is the spoken desire to murder all Jews. While some may not share those dark aspirations, their silence only amplifies the message of the twisted.

Because when murder of a people is being shouted in our streets, the only sane and healthy response can be to shout back with the cries of utter rejection and condemnation towards anyone who would proclaim that the only fix for humanity is to slaughter millions of its own. 

So where are those individuals who are shaken enough to be the voice of morality, sanity and rationale?  Where are the words to drown out the 7th century battle phrase, “Khaybar Kaybar, ya hahud, jaish Muhammad saya’ud” – the cry to murder Jews, heard on Toronto streets, in, of all places, a Jewish neighborhood? 

Is anyone surprised when Canadian resident, Abbas Hamze, Master of Data Analytics Instructor with University of Niagara Falls and Faculty Lecturer, said that “Jews have been kicked out of every country and that Zionists perform black magic and rape, kill, and eat children?” Or what about his invoking a deceased imam, quoted as saying that “Jews have spread corruption everywhere?”

Who, among Toronto’s political and religious leadership believes that silence, in the midst of such incendiary and libelous comments is an acceptable response?

According to an X post, Hamze “harasses & intimidates Jews including protesting outside of Jewish schools & synagogues. He called for the kidnapping of Israeli hostages stating that “Hamas had the right to take hostages in October 7th 2023” while also claiming “Hezbollah had the right to assist Hamas in October 8th.”

Perhaps the most shocking revelation of all is that Toronto police provide an armed escort for Abbas Hamze while he engages in all of these anti-Jewish protests, occurring at Jewish neighborhoods, schools, and synagogues. Why would he be entitled to that kind of protection while advocating for the death of Jews?

In one particular demonstration, Hamze was seen raising an Iranian flag in a Jewish neighborhood and expressing the following, “we will continue the path of Imam Khamenei, no matter how many sacrifices, and his pure blood will bear the inevitable victory.”

Since his arrival to Canada from France in 2022, it is truly a mystery why the country allows such a despicable agent of Jew hatred to remain in their midst. How many others have been radicalized by this demented low life, ready to join forces with him as he targets the Canadian Jewish community?

What damage and destruction would they be willing to undertake on his behalf? And why is this not the classic definition of incitement against a minority people? Will a feckless police force wait until someone is actually murdered?

Canada is, sadly, following in the footsteps of the U.K. and too many European countries, which have allowed similar sentiments to run rampant, all in the name of free speech. But doesn’t that right cease when calling for the murder of whole communities? Who thinks expressions of hate, toward one’s fellow man, are worthy of defense?

This is when we, as a collective species, need to carefully examine what is looking more and more like a steady decline into the abyss of no-return. When the proposal of murder is injected into our consciousness, it’s time to realize that a demonic spirit has invaded our space, intent on seeing our ruin. 

The only way back is to forcibly seize the platform of vilification and hate, wasting no time to return an atmosphere of tolerance, mutual respect and a spirit of forbearing that demands restraint, self-control and care for others.

Because, if leaders continue to allow a perverted status quo to fester in their cities and town squares, the outcome will result in a real return back to the Dark Ages, with no way to stop the inevitable carnage that will follow from unbridled hatred.

Yes, evil prevails in the hearts of men, but it is up to those who still have a preserved moral compass to come forth and save us all from the likes of people who in 2026 are sounding the battle cry from Canada to murder Jews.
