Macron seeks to replace God’s plan for Israel

Does anyone remember Hamas ever asking for a two-state solution? Was there a time, missed by all of us, when they begged the nations to apportion them a piece of the sliver of land called Israel?
The above-questions, obviously rhetorical, are easily answered, because no such demand has ever been made – not by Hamas nor by any other so-called “freedom fighters” who would have us believe that this is a property dispute, easily resolved, simply by sharing the goods.
But despite what is as clear as the nose on our faces, French President Emmanuel Macron has taken it upon himself to make the big move of being the first major Western country to recognize a Palestinian state, which begs the question why?
Could it have anything to do with the immense Muslim population that lives in France, likely pressuring him to act now? Or, could it be Macron’s hope to apply pressure to other nations to follow suit, thereby forcing Israel’s hand to forever give up any aspirations of realizing a future, encompassing the Greater Israel – the Biblical territory which God bestowed upon the Jewish people, taking in parts of Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan even Saudi Arabia?
If any of those scenarios account for Macron’s motivation, this might be part of a pre-emptive measure to, once and for all, prevent that scriptural promise from ever taking place. Because when viewed, within that perspective, the objective would be to erase Genesis 15:18 from the divine future plan, spoken by God, Himself to Abraham, the first Jew, whose descendants would be the rightful inheritors.
In other words, Macron, whether knowingly or not, has chosen to upend the words of the Almighty, replacing them with a “Plan B” that would not only contradict God’s word, and intended destiny for the Jewish people, but, if accomplished, would also call into question the veracity and reliability of the entire Biblical narrative, not to mention the authority and sovereignty of God.
When you look at it from that larger perspective, it becomes a competition to see whether the claims of a one, true God hold up and remain a valid belief from the first generation until this present one. In fact, it’s possible to say that, if Macron were to succeed in declaring his plan as the one which should be adopted by all others, and if the land of Israel, indeed, were to become a shared entity, a convincing argument could be made for the “God is dead” crowd.
And isn’t that really what has been at stake for the longest time? The war waged between the forces of good and evil dates back to before the foundations of the earth were created, when the fallen angel, Lucifer attempted to stage a heavenly coup, in the hope of seizing God’s power for himself. For any unfamiliar with the story, it can be found in both Isaiah 14:12-15 as well as Ezekiel 28:12-19.
Now, that same enactment is playing out, right before our eyes, as France seeks to join Spain, Norway and Ireland, all of whom already took the controversial step of recognizing a Palestinian State a year ago. But despite those efforts, it hasn’t moved the needle very much, because the so-called Palestinian people have no government, no political leaders, no military and pretty much none of the things which turn a population into a self-ruled state.
Consequently, the verbal declaration remains useless and toothless. That is the estimation of a Reuters article entitled, “Why is France recognizing Palestinian statehood and who else has?” Likewise, they call it a “symbolic” gesture since Israel is still very much present within those areas which Palestinians claim they would like to fully control.
But to momentarily indulge such a wish, let’s imagine that they were to be given those areas of Judea, Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what would happen to the estimated half a million Jews who live in those areas, encompassing 3.3% of all Jews in the world? Yes, that’s right, according to the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), “517,407 Jews live in Judea and Samaria as of January 1, 2024.
One thing is for sure, the possibility of Jews being allowed to continue to live in Palestinian-controlled areas would be a pipe dream, no longer attainable. And even if it were possible, what Jew would want to live in a geographic area, where their freedoms would be severely curtailed as the dominant religion, culture and rule of law would be heavily Islamic?
This is the reality of what would take place if Israel were to capitulate to the will of nations who foolishly believe that all that is needed to calm the thousands’-year-long conflict between these two peoples is to give them a piece of the pie. But if that was never the issue, then it cannot be the winning solution either.
Israel is warring against a faction which will not rest until and unless every Jew is exiled from the land which God gave to them. The Islamic agenda is deeply rooted in conquering lands which they claim were stolen from them, and although the erroneous assertion can be easily debunked, since God’s irreversible promise, recorded in Genesis 15, predated the birth of Islam by thousands of years, nothing will convince these Jew-haters that theirs is not a righteous battle.
All of this is just the continuing saga of the struggle between the forces of good and evil. But since we all know how that ended – when God expelled Satan and his cohorts from heaven, we can rest in the knowledge that the ultimate power which was coveted by them, remained in the hands of the Almighty, never to be seized – not then and not now.
No one person nor government can successfully thwart God’s divine plan for His people, and although they seem to think otherwise, as evidenced in their repeated efforts to do so, “Plan A” is still the one which will go forward. While it has yet to be seen, it will, indeed, be manifested at the right time, determined by the Sovereign God who is no match for anyone trying to replace Him!
