L'Chaim - To life!
"DEATH" is the oft-repeated motto of the Islamic Republic of Iran. "Death to Israel! Death to America" is chanted annually by crowds in the streets of Tehran since their Islamic Revolution in 1979.
And since that time they have diligently sought after the ultimate nuclear means to administer that death. Death is also the promise to those faithful Islamic martyrs who die murdering Jews and other heretics in cafes or on buses or on the battlefield. and they will be rewarded in a heavenly brothel with seventy-two virgins forever. Death is also assured to any who would have the audacity to demonstrate in opposition to such oppression. Death is also promised to any who would dare leaving such a remarkable ‘religion of peace’- whose motivating engine and fuel is Fear.
But that Islamic Death Wish seems to have backfired, with death instead falling upon their own heads from those very ones they had wished it upon, who had finally grown tired of their good wishes.
On the other and opposite end of the scale is the Jewish motto, "L'CHAIM!"- to Life, a motto derived from the divine instruction in the Torah: "This day I place before you life and death, therefore choose life!" That same Torah, which came some two thousand years before Muhammad and his Quran, is constructed upon its foundational command, "You shall love" (Deuteronomy 6:5; Leviticus 19:18)- the driving force behind the Judeo-Christian faiths, which declare that "God is love"- the very opposite of Fear. And perhaps that is why the dog, the most loving of all God's creatures, are disdained by Islam, and forbidden in their camp.
