Can we get details on the genocide you say is happening?

According to rapper Macklemore, U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, provocateur streamer Hassan Piker, a myriad of Hollywood actors, including Mark Ruffalo, the nation of Ireland, and many prominent writers, actors, filmmakers, musicians, Israel is guilty of having committed genocide in Gaza. 

In fact, large crowds gathered outside the U.N. and in Times Square, just a few days ago, to voice their genocide claims against Israel. 

If true, wouldn’t you think at least one or two of those individuals would provide some actual details of the genocide to back up their libelous claims?

Yet, we don’t hear the gruesome facts, only allegations of starvation, targeted murders and ethnic cleansing, verbally hurled with no evidence pointing to when and where. As far as the “whom,” that’s no mystery. It’s always the IDF. 

Our sons, grandsons, neighbors and friends, cast as the heartless monsters are supposedly systematically following orders of annihilation, all directed at the same people who Israel never previously targeted – many of whom were granted work permits for the purpose of being gainfully employed in Israel.

Nonetheless, the frenzied shouts of genocide keep coming. To the accusers, they are real, and to stop the genocide from continuing, American rapper Macklemore was willing to lose his scheduled concerts and become the object of scorn. Why would he be vilified if he was merely coming to the defense of the people he claims are slowly disappearing from the face of the earth? 

Ready to risk a good career, he should have come a bit more prepared, with specifics that would have bolstered his spontaneous diatribe against the Jewish state?  After all, wasn’t calling out an egregious evil the humane thing to do?

Ironically, in the attempt to bring shame and humiliation upon the Israeli military, the Jewish State and her people, both individually and collectively, it turns out that all of these accusers are bringing that degradation right back upon themselves.

Their stunning ignorance of the real facts, whether deliberate or unintended, displayed by these people, government leaders and countries, who infer the existence of genocide, apartheid and occupation, speaks volumes about their lack of honesty, integrity or ability to conduct their own independent research.

They refuse Israel the same right, afforded to other countries when it comes to the legitimate act of self-defense. Wouldn’t every nation react similarly after being brutally attacked by terrorists, whose goal is the destruction of every man, woman and child who inhabits the geographic area they chose to invade.

By blindly repeating the unfounded crimes that are being claimed, these foolish individuals are all too ready to jump on the trendy bandwagon of antisemitism which, once again, made its debut, following a massacre that was 20-years in the making.

The hatred is so great against the only democracy in the Middle East, that people are willing to stick out their necks, even if, in the end, it hurts their own credibility and legitimacy.  

Take the annual Eurovision Song Contest, represented by world nations, all competing for the honor of having the best song.  

The coveted prize is immaterial and happy to be forgone by a number of specific countries who have been on an unrelenting campaign, protesting their refusal to share the stage with Israel, a formidable competitor who has won the distinction on four different occasions.

At this last 2026 contest, Ireland, Iceland, Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain all chose to boycott the event, citing “the ongoing loss of life in Gaza.”  

Their statement read, “National broadcaster RTE feels that Ireland’s participation cannot be justified given the appalling and ongoing loss of lives in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis there, which continues to put the lives of so many civilians at risk.” 

While they merely mention what they describe as a genocide, there are no accompanying particulars about it – just the reference with no graphic details or explicit content. There’s virtually nothing to defend, since nothing is cited.

But they are right about a humanitarian crisis happening in Gaza. They just fail to properly credit its makers. Everyone who is homeless, hungry or deprived of employment, education and all the other rights and privileges, that a well-working society offers to its people, can lay the full blame at the feet of the Hamas government whom they elected to represent them.

It was that regime who decided to go for broke by risking everything for the sake of a sickening promise they made to the people who placed their full trust in them.

But when you hate Israel more than anything else, the genesis of how a catastrophic fate fell upon the people of Gaza is not worth mentioning, so why attribute the horrors now being felt by these poor victims? Exposing the evil of terrorists would only undermine the guilt that performers hope to hurl at the Jewish state.

For them, drawing attention to the suffering of Gazans is where it begins and ends.  No need to fill in the dots or provide context that would point to the invaders, whose full intent was Jewish genocide in Israel.

By skipping that part, it makes you wonder what came first – the hatred for Israel or the need to garner more personal fame? Because both seem to be the endgame of these accusers who are exceptionally adept at obfuscating the real facts.  

Since their audiences tend to be young people with little or no knowledge, their credibility is not an issue. Driven by the infectious virus of virtue-signaling, these artists must prove their moral worth by expressing their great angst at the only Jewish country in existence.  

There’s nothing that boosts their status more. In addition to their talent, they display a larger-than-life heart of compassion for those they see as the victimized underdog, always oppressed and downtrodden. If they’re really lucky, they can also add martyrdom to their profile, as in the case of Macklemore being ousted by the stadium owner, Robert Kraft.

Because the venue’s owner happened to be one of the tribe, he withdrew his platform, to the rapper. Macklemore, trying to outdo Kraft, then challenged him to donate money to the Gaza victims. But who can ensure that it won’t wind up in the pockets of terrorists? 

This is performance art at its finest – fact-less guilt and aimless donations. But whatever you do, don’t demand substantiated details, because none will be given, otherwise how can the hate be perpetuated.
