As protesters are being slaughtered and world stays silent, we declare 'From Tehran to the sea, the Iranian people shall be free'

We pray for Iran’s spiritual and political liberation

For close to three weeks now, the Islamic regime of Iran has been slaughtering its citizens in the streets for demanding freedom.

More than 10,000 lie dead, probably even more.

This comes shortly after the world’s attention has been gripped by Israel’s alleged genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza for over two years.

Journalists, activists, academics, politicians, actors, singers and other public figures have tirelessly campaigned against Israel based on the ostensibly principled opposition against mass killings of civilians and the deprivation of basic rights.

They filled the world’s streets and central places, university campuses, news shows and award galas, international summits and every other conceivable public forum with their cry for a “Free Palestine.”

But now, these same people are quiet.

Even worse, some of them don’t just refuse to raise their voices for the (by now) literally voiceless people of Iran – amid the week-long information blackout – they are attacking those who are.

On social media, Iranian influencers and even regular people speaking out against the violence perpetrated against their people face online mobs attacking them for being “Zionists” and allegedly enabling the “CIA” and the “Mossad” to take over their country.

The reasons for this despicable phenomenon are manifold.

For one, many of those who spent their time passionately criticizing Israel are on the left side of the political spectrum.

In the team sport that is modern politics, especially in the online realm, the Islamic Republic and its mullah regime are identified as being part of the progressive, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, and therefore anti-American global leftist coalition.

Jew hatred also certainly plays a central part in blinding those who see injustice and oppression in every action taken by the Jewish state, but can’t see the blood flowing in the streets of Tehran.

The Iran story is unfortunately only part of the bigger issue of media bias that we at ALL ISRAEL NEWS have been trying to tackle since our foundation.

It is legitimate, and even necessary, to point out if and when the Jewish state fails to act justly, fairly, or humanely.

But then, we expect to see the same passion for justice regarding every other humanitarian catastrophe, especially those perpetrated by Islamist forces in the very same region.

The blood of slaughtered Syrians, Yemenis, Iraqis, Sudanese and others has been crying out from the ground for decades, without evoking the same response as dead Gazans – or Israelis, for that matter.

And now the ayatollahs are soaking their streets in the blood of their own people, while the world is largely silent.

Raise your voice with us.

Pray for the spiritual & political liberation of Iran's 92 million people.
