U.S. says Iran is preparing to provide Russia with hundreds of armed drones for Ukraine war

The United States believes that Iran is preparing to provide Russia with drones to use in Ukraine, according to National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
"Our information indicates that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred UAVs, including weapons-capable UAVs on an expedited timeline," Sullivan said.
U.S. intelligence indicates that Iran will begin training Russian troops on using the unmanned aircraft vehicles as soon as this month, Sullivan added.
He made the comments during a briefing to reporters on President Biden’s upcoming trip to the Middle East.
