Tucker trashes Trump for standing with Israel against genocidal Iranian regime – but Trump is absolutely right to stand with America’s most faithful ally

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — Tucker Carlson has lost it.

It was crazy enough when he openly sided with Vladimir Putin – Mad Vlad – the Russian monster who ordered his military forces to invade, murder, rape, and pillage the people of Ukraine, and has threatened to do the same with various pro-American NATO allies.

But now he’s standing with the terror masters of Tehran as they wage their brutal and bloody 20-month war against the Jewish State of Israel, and openly vow to wipe the “criminal Zionist entity” off the map.

That’s why Tucker is trashing President Donald Trump.

Because Trump is standing with Israel – America’s most faithful ally in the Middle East – as we defend ourselves against more than 580 direct missile and suicide drone attacks from Iran over the past year.

And as we defend ourselves against invasion and thousands upon thousands of rocket attacks by Iran’s terror subsidiaries, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other violent and radical Islamists in the West Bank, Syria, and Iraq.

God bless President Trump for being a true friend – for having Israel’s back as we defend ourselves against our genocidal enemies.

Yet, this very heartfelt solidarity that Trump shows Israel in good times and bad – precisely because Trump is putting America first and because Trump knows that Israel pulls its own weight in this alliance – infuriates Tucker.

Israel has never asked the United States to send its sons and daughters to fight for us.

Even though our enemies hate America even more than they hate us.

Even though our enemies seek the annihilation of the American people and way of life – not just Israel’s annihilation.

Even though our enemies are constantly chanting, “Death to America!” – not just “Death to Israel!”

We Israelis are more than willing to send our own sons and daughters into harm’s way to protect ourselves and defend Western civilization.

Yes, we ask for American help in terms of weapons.

But what do we provide America in return?

Victory over savages who vow to kill Americans once they finish us off.

Victory over lunatics hell-bent on building nuclear weapons to vaporize Americans, not just us.

Astonishingly precise and nearly impossible-to-obtain intelligence that has helped thwart attacks by America’s worst enemies.

Breakthrough technologies that have helped save countless American lives.

But none of that matters to Tucker.

Consider this headline from the UK Independent tonight:

“Tucker turns on Trump: Ex-Fox News host blasts ‘complicit’ president for backing Israel after attacks on Iran.”

“Tucker Carlson has turned on President Donald Trump by accusing him of being ‘complicit’ in Israel’s attacks on Iran,” the story begins.

“Despite being complicit in the act of war, the president hopes last night’s events will help his ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran,” Carlson wrote in his newsletter.

“While the American military may not have physically perpetrated the assault, years of funding and sending weapons to Israel, which Donald Trump just bragged about on Truth Social, undeniably place the U.S. at the center of last night’s events,” the right-wing pundit added.

“Washington knew these attacks would happen. They aided Israel in carrying them out,” Carlson continued. “Politicians purporting to be America First can’t now credibly turn around and say they had nothing to do with it.”

The story in The Independent notes that Tucker Carlson is not the only right-wing voice criticizing Trump for standing with Israel.

They cite several others.

“A direct strike on Iran right now would disastrously split the Trump coalition,” podcaster Jack Posobiec wrote on 𝕏. “Trump smartly ran against starting new wars. This is what the swing states voted for.”

The article notes, Posobiec “added that it could cost the Republicans the midterms.”

“If Trump gave Israel the ‘green light’ to target Iran, it ‘would be seen as an unforgivable betrayal by millions of American voters,’ Mollie Hemingway, the editor of right-wing publication The Federalist, said in a post on 𝕏,” the article continued.

That said, Tucker’s voice is the most troubling because his reach is so wide and his influence in the MAGA world so deep.

He has 16.3 million followers on 𝕏.

He also has more than 4 million subscribers on YouTube.

Even though he has told friends over the years that he gives lip service to Trump but actually despises him, once writing on 𝕏, “I hate him passionately” – he somehow has the president’s ear, and that of some of Trump’s closest advisors.

Yes, it concerns me that Tucker doesn’t stand with Israel.

But it concerns me even more that he doesn’t understand just how wicked and dangerous the Iranian regime is –not just to Israel, and our Sunni Arab allies, and to the Iranian people themselves, including millions of Iranian Christians.

But Tucker also doesn’t understand just how wicked and dangerous the Iranian regime is to the American people.

It doesn’t seem to matter to Tucker that the Iranian regime declared war on the American people almost a half-century ago.

Or that the Iranian regime took Americans hostage in Tehran on November 4, 1979, and held them for 444 humiliating days.

Or that the Iranian regime directed its terror proxy, Hezbollah, to attack the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut on October 23, 1983, killing 241 Americans and wounding many more.

Or that the Iranian regime was responsible for the bombing of the Khobar Towers, a residential complex in Saudi Arabia, on June 25, 1996 – killing 19 Americans and severely wounding 400 more Americans and internationals living and working at the complex.

I could go on, but here’s the point:

If Tucker is really an “America First” guy, why doesn’t Iran’s murder of so many Americans over so many years bother him?

Why exactly is Tucker trashing Trump for standing with an American ally and against an American enemy?
