Third COVID shot for Israelis 60+ available from Sunday, health ministry director-general decides
Israel’s Ministry of Health officially approved a third shot of the COVID vaccine for all Israelis 60 years old and up on Thursday.
While the official decision was announced yesterday, today Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Ash set the age criteria for administering the third COVID injection.
Earlier this month, in a decision that preempted the rest of the world – and despite a U.S. Food and Drug Administration statement that third shots are unnecessary – Israel began administering a third shot to people with a compromised immune system, ALL ISRAEL NEWS reported.
