Pro-Israel demonstration in New Zealand brings together natives, Christians and Jews
Around 500 people gathered to express their support for Israel
In the wake of many anti-Israel demonstrations around the world, it is less common to see pro-Israel demonstrations. That’s why it was even more moving to see a crowd of around 500 people in New Zealand gathered to express their support for Israel.
Many ethnic groups were represented, including Māori, Pasifika, Iranians, Kurds, Indians, Christians and Jews.
New Zealanders, also known as Kiwis, reaffirmed their friendship with Israel and the Jewish community while expressing solidarity. Click here to watch a video of the speech by Dr. Sheree Trotter during the event.
Around the world, similar pro-Israel rallies are happening today in London, New York, and Los Angeles.
