19:10 - Israelis trying to return by boat rescued off coast of Lebonon

Sixteen Israelis, who were trying to return to Israel by boat from Cyprus, were rescued by the Israel Navy.

The Transportation Ministry said the boat got stranded roughly 25 miles off the port of Sidon, Lebanon, after experiencing an engine failure.

The boat, which departed Cyprus, was carrying 16 Israelis and two crew Cypriot crew members, was rescued by the Transportation Ministry’s Rescue Coordination Center in cooperation with the Israeli Navy.

18:15 - IAF eliminates Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon

The military said in a statement that the IAF struck and eliminated a terrorist who took part in Hezbollah's attempt to rebuild its terrorist infrastructure in the area of Houla in southern Lebanon.

18:10 - Fires reported near Sea of Galilee after interceptions of latest missile salvo

Fires broke out in Yavne'el south of the Sea of Galilee and Tamra in the north after interceptions of missiles launched by Iran.

Five firefighting teams are working on the fire in Yavne'el, to prevent the spread to populated areas, and are being supported by four firefighting planes. In Tamra, several vehicles were reported to have caught fire after being hit by falling shrapnel from the interceptions. Three fire crews are working to control the flames and prevent the fire from spreading.

16:55 - All-clear given after missile attack, no reports of injuries

The IDF Home Front Command announced that residents of northern Israel can exit their shelters.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage caused by the attack.

The barrage included some 10-15 ballistic missiles, according to media reports.

16:37 - Iran launches missile attack on northern Israel

The Iranian regime launched a missile attack at northern Israel.

Alarm sirens were activated first in the Haifa Bay area and then across northern Israel.

16:36 - Trump denies report that he already decided to join war against Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump denied a report by the Wall Street Journal, according to which he had privately approved attack plans for Iran's nuclear sites but was still holding off in the hopes that Iran will agree to abandon its nuclear program before deciding to order the strikes. 

"The Wall Street Journal has No Idea what my thoughts are concerning Iran!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

15:58 - PM Netanyahu meets opposition leaders Gantz and Liberman for security update

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with National Unity Party Chairman Benny Gantz and Yisrael Beitenu Party Chairman Avigdor Lieberman for a security update about the war on Thursday morning.

After the meeting, Gantz said in a video message that Israelis are “all united behind the political and military echelons in this mission that guarantees Israel’s security for decades to come."

The operation to destroy Iran’s nuclear program is close to the end but “we must not stop,” Gantz stressed.

14:57 - Israel believes 2/3 of Iran's missile launchers destroyed; over 100 left

Israel's airstrikes have managed to destroy two-thirds of Iran's ballistic missile launchers, a military source told Reuters.

However, he added that over 100 launchers are still intact.

Meanwhile, the IDF released more footage of recent strikes on surface-to-surface missile infrastructure and soldiers in western Iran.

14:10 - Military believes some missiles this morning contained cluster warheads

The defense establishment believes that some of the missiles in the barrage launched by Iran this morning used cluster warheads, containing multiple munitions inside them, which explode upon impact, Israeli media reported.

The assessment was made due to findings collected by the forces at one of the sites of the fall.

Israeli journalist Doron Kadosh reported on Army Radio the finding of several smaller, explosive warheads in one of the impacts in the Gush Dan area.

14:03 - IDF spox: 'Iran targets civilians; we target an existential threat'

IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin highlighted that the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, which was hit by an Iranian missile earlier, had served "over one million Israelis, including Bedouins, Jews, Christians and Arabs alike" in a televised briefing.

"Iran targeting civilian centers with ballistic missiles is no surprise for us. They have been openly declaring their desire to destroy the State of Israel for decades now. These aren’t just words. Over the past six days, Iran has launched over 450 ballistic missiles and hundreds of UAVs."

"This is exactly why we cannot — and will not — allow this regime to obtain nuclear weapons or expand its missile arsenal. And so we continue our operations, striking Iranian nuclear weapons facilities, missile launchers and military sites. Iran targets civilians; we target an existential threat that endangers global security. And we will prevail," Defrin said.

13:10 - Iranian FM to meet with European counterparts in Geneva

According to a report in Iranian state media, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi announced that he would meet his British, French and German counterparts, as well as the European Union's top diplomat on Friday in Geneva.

Araghchi claimed the meeting was requested by the three western European states. Both France and Britain have called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Iran, urging a diplomatic resolution.

12:21 - Police stop foreign media broadcasts from missile sites

The broadcasts from missile impact sites of several foreign news outlets were stopped by the Israel Police this morning, for fear that they could reveal their exact locations and help Iran better calibrate its missile assaults.

The footage was said to be used by the Al Jazeera news network, which is banned in Israel.

Police officers were dispatched to take action “against news agencies utilized by Al Jazeera to transmit unauthorized and unlawful content," a spokesman said, after a directive from National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and by order of Police Commissioner Danny Levy.

11:23 - IDF eliminates Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon

The IDF struck and killed Hezbollah's commander of an anti-tank unit in the Chebaa outpost in the area of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon overnight, the mlitary stated.

"During the war, the terrorist advanced numerous attacks against the State of Israel and led the anti-tank missile attack on Mount Dov, which resulted in the death of Sharif Suad on April 26, 2024," the IDF said, adding that he also "continued to advance terror activity in southern Lebanon in a way that violated the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."

"The IDF continues to monitor and thwart Hezbollah's attempts to increase its readiness to strike the State of Israel under the cover of the war with Iran. The IDF will continue to eliminate any threat posed to the State of Israel."

10:27 - Iran's deputy FM threatens: 'All options on the table' in case of US involvement

Iran has “all the necessary options on the table” in case the US gets directly involved in the war, Iran’s deputy foreign minister threatened.

“If the US wants to actively intervene in support of Israel, Iran will have no other option but to use its tools to teach aggressors a lesson and defend itself… our military decision-makers have all necessary options on the table,” Kazem Gharibabadi said.

“Our recommendation to the US is to at least stand by if they do not wish to stop Israel’s aggression.”

10:12 - Missile attack on Soroka Hospital is an 'act of terror', says Health Minister

“The missile fired toward Soroka Medical Center is an act of terror and crosses a red line,” Health Minister Uriel Buso stated.

“It is a war crime by the Iranian regime, deliberately targeting innocent civilians and medical teams dedicated to saving lives. The Health Ministry was prepared in advance, and thanks to the immediate actions we took, a major disaster was averted,” he added.

“I urge the public: Please continue to follow Home Front Command instructions. It saves lives.”

09:50 - Three seriously wounded, dozens more with moderate and light injuries after missile attack

Following the Iranian missile barrage, Magen David Adom updated that there are three people who were seriously wounded, as well as two with moderate and 42 people with light injuries.

09: 43 - DM Katz: Netanyahu and I instructed the IDF to 'undermine Ayatollah regime'

"This morning, Iran's terrorist tyrants launched missiles at the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and at a civilian population in central Israel. We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Defense Minister Israel Katz added, "The cowardly Iranian dictator sits deep in his fortified bunker and fires targeted shots at hospitals and residential buildings in Israel."

"These are war crimes of the most serious kind - and Khamenei will be held accountable for his crimes."

"The Prime Minister and I have instructed the IDF to increase the intensity of attacks against strategic targets in Iran and against government targets in Tehran in order to remove threats from the State of Israel and undermine the ayatollahs' regime," he added.

08:59 – Air defenses shot down 17 Iranian drones overnight

The IDF’s air defense systems shot down 17 Iranian drones throughout the night, according to Army Radio.

Several alarm sirens were triggered, mostly in northern Israel and along the border with Jordan.

There were no reports of injuries or damage caused by the attacks.

 

08:47 – IDF strikes Arak nuclear reactor, nuclear weapons development site in Natanz

The Israeli Air Force struck dozens of targets in Iran overnight, including an inactive nuclear reactor in Arak and a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz.

“40 IAF fighter jets, with the precise intelligence direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, struck dozens of military targets in Tehran and additional areas throughout Iran, using over 100 munitions,” the military said.

“As part of the strikes, and as part of the broad effort to prevent the Iranian regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon, the nuclear reactor in the area of Arak in Iran was targeted, including the structure of the reactor's core seal, which is a key component in plutonium production.”

“Additionally, the IAF struck a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz. The site contained components and specialized equipment used to advance nuclear weapons development, and projects designed to accelerate the regime’s nuclear program were hosted there.”

Other targets included factories producing raw materials, components used in assembling ballistic missiles, sites for the production of air defense systems and missiles, surface-to-surface missile storage sites, detection radar systems, and detection equipment.

 

08:30 – Direct hit on hospital, dozens wounded & heavy damage after missile barrage from Iran

A heavy barrage of over 30 ballistic missiles hit Israel in the morning, with one missile directly impacting a building in the Soroka Hospital compound in Beersheba.

First reports indicate that three people were seriously wounded across several impact sites, including at least three in the Tel Aviv area.

 

06:43 – Hezbollah rocket commander killed by Israeli drone

Hezbollah’s commander of the rocket artillery unit in the Litani River sector was killed by an Israeli drone overnight, the military stated.

He was involved in numerous rocket attacks on northern Israel during the war, the IDF said, as well as in “attempts to restore Hezbollah’s artillery forces.”
