Hamas takes responsibility for murder of Batsheva Nigri on Monday
The two terrorists arrested for the shooting attack that killed Batsheva Nigri and seriously injured Aryeh Gottlieb near Hebron are members of Hamas, the organization confirmed to Al-Jazeera news outlet on Tuesday.
The two brothers and the murder weapon were captured by Israeli security forces in their family home in the West Bank town of Hebron during a Monday night operation.
Security officials estimate that the terrorists received some limited help during the preparation for the attack, Ynet news reported.
The IDF has already mapped out the homes of the terrorists, which is currently slated for demolition.
