Cyber attack cripples hospital in Bnei Brak for hours
Ma'ayanei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak was the victim of a cyber attack that caused the shutdown of its administrative computer systems on Monday night,
The hospital statement read: "The Ma'ayanei Hayeshua Medical Center is updating about a ransom-type cyber event that damaged the administrative computer systems of the hospital. The event is being monitored by the Health Ministry and the National Cyber apparatus and is being handled by the best experts in the field. Currently, it is only administrative systems, without any harm to the medical care and the center's patients."
The identity of the hackers is still unknown.
